What was Albanian popular music like under communism?

I grew up in the Eastern Bloc, so I was aware that each of these states had a reasonably vibrant (state-approved) pop music scene, starting as early as the end of the Stalinist era. Then there were the pan-Eastern Bloc performers, like Alla Pugacheva and her mega-hit A million scarlet roses.
What did Albanian pop music (however you choose to define the term) sound like while under communism?
What listening suggestions would you make that were particularly memorable or meaningful to you?
