I don’t see how this is even a debate: the guy’s name is Allred. Republicans should want to vote for him too. 🌊

Can a non republican even win in that heavily corrupted anti democracy state?

I’ve been critical of Allred’s campaign in the past but he’s definitely taken it up on a notch these past few weeks.

And now with the Cheneys backing Allred it could get really interesting.

Cruz is a brown nosed (pun intended) sycophant that needs to become obsolete.
Please go out and help Texans get rid of him – in the ballots of course.

Colin Alfred is no more capable of defeating Ted Cruz than Kamala Harris is of defeating Donald Trump.

What are the chances Paxton and Abott refuse to accept the results even if Allred comes out ahead initially? I’d say approaching zero.

We’ve been down this road before. I’ll believe it when I see the votes say it, but Ken Paxton has far too many tricks up his sleeve and we’ve seen he operates without repercussions.

Lest we forget, Ted Cruz is in fact the Zodiac Killer. Vote for Collin Allred.

This is stupendous. Now if all Texas Dems get out and vote, bring a friend, remind their families, if we just try hard enough… The state will openly screw with the ballots, tell you to your face they cheated, laugh and Cruz will win by 3 points 👍

I’d imagine all of Dallas and Houston are all in team Hamburder right now, since the removal of Trump would cut down on republican turnout.

Only if democrats in fucking texas actually go out and vote and don’t sit it out because they feel disenfranchised by texas too many people dont realize how easily dems can win texas if 5-10% more dems actually get up on election day and vote when they normally dont

Texans, we all need to be sure we’re registered to vote AND exercise our right to do so.
When incorporating the “lean” of undecided voters, Trump only leads by 1.1 points. That’s a pretty tiny margin for a non-swing state. Too bad that they didn’t incorporate an additional question so that they could do the same for the senate race.
What’s surprising is that there are just less than two months left until Election Day but there are still 7.7% undecided voters in the senate race.
The undecided voters are mostly comprised of folks that are evenly split between those that voted for Trump in 2020 or did not vote for a presidential candidate in the 2020 elections. They generally don’t like Ted Cruz and are not all that familiar with Colin Allred. Skimming the cross tabs gives the impression that the undecided voters demographically lean towards younger Hispanic women who are concerned about immigration and believe that the abortion ban is too strict. For anyone else looking at the cross tabs as well, does that look about right?
