I think is the ammo, not the gun. Feed ramp is suspect or the gas system is dirty.

What have they done to the Galil? I’ve used it during my service (Glilon, short Galil), it’s a beast – heavy and indestructible. Super reliable. Sad to see it like that.

This rifle has a shady design and history. IWI and Israel deny ever issuing offical licensing there, and report goes IWI engineers were in Myanmar in the early 90s that gave them the knowledge and a few tooling’s to manufacture them. Or that IWI engineers helped them with a few modifications
