I noticed today that egg prices are skyrocketing again, so groceries will be the issue once more. Funny that I have not read about any bird flu outbreaks at egg farms. Must be gouging for Trump and profit.

i don’t think he has Americans’ best interest at heart. he only cares about himself and his personal gain.

When discussing gas prices historical context is crucial. I can remember in the Sixties when gas was .25 a gallon. In today’s world .25 in 1966 is about $3.00 in 2024 money. So gas prices are simply not that high. Add to that the fact that taxes on gas are much higher than they were in 1966, the reality is that gas prices for abundant gas are surprisingly moderate. Everyone looks at COVID gas prices as quite cheap BUT THE ECONOMY WAS SHUT DOWN AND THERE WAS NO PLACE TO GO. Due to the oil shocks in the 70’s gas prices quadrupled virtually overnight and gas, due to the embargo, was NOT ABUNDANT. Now that was a crisis. Long lines at gas stations and the limited gas supply could run out before you got to the pump. The entire US economy was thrown into turmoil. Nothing like that going on right now

This absolutely pissed me off. I ordered 200 of those “I did this” Biden stickers and haven’t been able to use a single one on gas pumps in like a year. I’ve been banned from each of the 3 grocery stores in my city for putting them on olive oil, mayonnaise and beef jerky. It’s just not right being a hard working father of two who can’t even shop in the local grocery stores, thanks Biden!

I really wish we could teach all Americans about the economics behind the price of gas.

Adjusting for inflation the cost of gasoline is basically flat since the 1980s.
According to the Biden stickers on the pumps I should be thanking him

I heard that if Trump gets his way and gas prices go under $2 there is only one way that happens, and it is with a recession or massive economic downturn.

Why us it a blow to the Tru o campaign and not a benefit to the Harris campaign? Why is Trump the anchor point to the headline?
Because the media is biased in favor of Trump. Every time his name is in the news is a small bump.
We should be talking about all the benefits if the Biden/Harris time in office and how much more valuable her time in office will be.

When they are high, we got all the “I did that” stickers from MAGAts. When it’s low, MAGAts will say “it’s complicated”.
That’s the thing at play here. There is no consistency with these people.
