  1. This time it was obvious to everyone. That Tim Pool rant on Ukraine being our enemy was so blatant.

  2. Leave it to Dump to continue saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and making everything worse.

Anyone who votes for him should be working next 4th of July, they don’t deserve to celebrate our independence.

Somebody check me on this. Has Trump *ever* said anything against Russia? Has Trump *ever* said anything negative or critical about Putin? Ever?

  4. The DOJ determines that Russia is funding influencers. One of Russia’s main goals is to get Trump elected.

Trump then responds by saying the DOJ is wrong and that they’re too focused on Russia.

At this point, it sure looks to me like Trump is aligned with the Russians and is trying to protect them.

    From the article:

Former President Trump on Saturday dismissed findings from the Justice Department about Russia’s covert efforts to influence the 2024 U.S. elections and joked about whether he should be offended that Vladimir Putin had offered a tongue-in-cheek endorsement of Vice President Harris.

Trump held a rally in Wisconsin, where he referenced a Justice Department announcement earlier in the week that it seized 32 web domains Russia has used for its influence campaigns.

“Three days ago it started again. The Justice Department said Russia may be involved in our elections again,” Trump said. “Russia. It’s Russia. And you know the whole world laughed at them this time.

“They said just the other day, the attorney general, ‘We are looking at Russia.’ And I said oh no. It’s Russia, Russia, Russia all over again,” Trump said, referring to the investigation into his 2016 campaign by special counsel Robert Mueller. “But they don’t look at China and they don’t look at Iran. I don’t know what it is with poor Russia.”

The Biden administration earlier this week condemned Russian efforts to influence the 2024 U.S. election.

  6. Poor Russia? He actually uses this phrase and keeps people wanting to vote for him? Bizarro world

This isn’t surprising, he totally ignored US intel agencies and sided with Putin after a closed door meeting in Russia.

    Trump is compromised.

  8. It’s going to feel so vindicating when proof is shown he was a literal Russian agent compromised by some of the most heinous blackmail known to only ***weird*** members of the Republican Party.

  9. “Poor Russia”???

Can we strap him on a Ukraine drone and drop-ship him in the middle of Moscow please?

  10. Any article about trump and Russia should include their 40 year history working together, the numerous people in trump’s inner circle who have close ties to Russia, and the over $100,000,000 that Russian oligarchs paid to trump. Without that context, the article is disingenuous.

  11. If you’re looking at China and Iran, you might as well be looking at Russia. They’re allies. He understands nothing because he doesn’t care. His only reason to be President is to enrich himself and his buddies. There’s nothing else. He would kill his own mother for money.

I hope one of the debate questions is: “Why do you believe Russia is trying so hard to get Trump and other republicans elected?” And hopefully, Hillary is in the audience nodding her head.

    They do look at Iran.

    Like here:

[US indicts three over alleged support for Iran’s weapons program, DOJ says](https://www.reuters.com/world/us-indicts-three-over-alleged-support-irans-weapons-program-doj-says-2024-08-08/)

    >WASHINGTON, Aug 8 (Reuters) – The United States has indicted two Iranian citizens and one Pakistani citizen for providing material support to what the U.S. Justice Department called Iran’s weapons of mass destruction program.

    And that’s from last month.

But Donnie has a goldfish like attention span.

If hes so keen on getting Iran and China, then ok. Keep supporting Ukraine. Cause guess where Russia is having to go for munitions? Iran, China, and North Korea.

So in keeping Russia from steamrolling Ukraine we can deplete resources from four strategic opponents.

Or we can go the Trump route and man crush on Putin while rolling over for belly rubs from Xi and Kim.

  15. Russia is an enemy of the US and the first world. Has been for decades, will continue to be so long as Putin is in charge.

  16. So basically he is now openly acknowledging that Russia is actively interfering with the election…

And also, to the DOJ cracking down on this, great job guys! Keep up the great work!

  17. Putin “endorsed” Kamala Harris, and Trump is still pandering to Putin, the mental gymnastics must be studied in a clinical fMRI environment. There is some seriously crazy neuropathy happening here.

Just like in Helsinki, he sides with Russia because their interference is benefiting him personally.

Not only has nothing changed, but he’s gotten worse.

  19. I wonder how many of the secrets he’s managed to keep hidden even after the fbi search has made their way to Moscow.

  20. Imaginary-Arugula735 on

Trump didn’t just dismiss the findings, he mocked the DOJ/FBI investigation with his version of “And they would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for those meddling kids!” It’s a strange and unpresidential response. He downplays his own villainy with his cartoonish character.

I watched Fox News to see what their take on it was and the repulsive Sean Hannity’s repulsive spin was essentially “Liberals shut down right-wing commentators and violate their 1st Amendment rights” while glossing over the Russian state money part of the story and completely omitting the anti-Ukraine / pro-Russia screed by Tim Pool. Wtf. And when did the FBI become LIBERAL? The director, Christoper Wray is a Republican and was nominated by Trump. This is blatant obfuscation through omission and as always implies a liberal conspiracy.

This was not a liberal conspiracy – it’s simply election anti-fuckery – and in fact the RT and Putin are NOT bankrolling LIBERAL commentators. They bankroll white nationalist Trumpets.

Half of this country needs a Memento-style “Don’t believe his lies” tattoo.

  21. Poor Russia? Tell me you don’t know a thing about international relations without saying you don’t know a damn thing.

  22. Having grown up during the 80’s, I can’t fathom how we went from hating the russians to this. Some of the same people who said “better dead than red!” Are now gargling putin’ nuts.

  23. DiffieKultKiss10 on

What it is about Russia is… No one else would flush money down the toilet by giving it to the trump crime family. Everyone knew it. I remember first reading it in Salveson’s Trumpocalypse Not, and that was 7 years ago.

  24. What do you all it when somebody sides with your nation’s adversary?

    There’s a word… now, *what* is it?

  25. You mean Donald “I don’t see any reason why it would be.” Trump took the side of Putin over the US govt? No way!

  26. steelmanfallacy on

Biden sent $100 billion of weaponry to the Ukrainians and Trump is threatening to cut that flow. Of course Putin will spend money supporting Trump.
