Cost rental is an interesting scheme. Developers make their profit, council owns the properties, and the taxpayers who pay 33% of their net income to pay for the whole thing end up owning nothing.

Construction will begin end of next year. Then it will be pushed back by planning objections and other delays. Might be built by 2030 with a bit of luck
