Hello People of Turkey! I am Robert, a guy from Romania. I had a one week trip to Manisa and had a lot of fun there. Tried some of the local food and drinks, and among the drinks, someone gave me some of this thing, and told me it is fermented purple carrot juice. I tried it, and I loved it, so I had to get some for home. But now I am out of it and I would love to be able to drink some more. Has any of you been to Romania and found anything similar to this by accident? Please let me know! Thanks!

Its my favorite too good luck finding more.
Also despite being in love with şalgam I can only drink the spicy ones, without chilli extract it tastes terrible
I really don’t know but here is something that i would recommend if you ever find it again.
Open the cap, pour some on to a small cup and close the cap, put it back in the fridge, wait for 2 to 4 weeks and “şalgam” will taste so much better. Think like its wine.

If you can find a Turkish market or some larger market with extra choices, you can find this as well. The company ships these to almost everywhere.
If not, you can make it at home as well but it will take some trial and error. There are some good recipes in the internet.
P.s: The recipe will call for bulgur. You can find it from Turkish, Arabian or Lebanese markets as well.
it tastes like vine but it doesnt get you drunk so its a win sin

If you have Turkish friends that drink Rakı they might know a place that sells it. But they need to find Rakı in Romania in the first place 😅
Even if it’s delicious drink, doğanay is the worst brand. Try Büyük usta şalgam suyu, you will thanks me later.

Hi Robert, be careful drinking this. In case you drink the whole bottle with empty stomach, you’ll end up in WC within an hour or so.
You can easily find it Turkish market or restaurant but if it’s difficult to go this places you can find it Amazon as well.
