The Çiğdem Forest land of the farm, which was included in the scope of privatization last year, was put out to tender. 12-storey luxury residences and a shopping mall will be built on the area where the final bid will be submitted on September 25.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Forest land known as Çiğdem Forest within the Atatürk Forest Farm (AOÇ) belonging to the treasury in the Karakusunlar Neighborhood of the Çankaya district of Ankara was included in the scope of privatization by a presidential decree in 2023. A plan change was also prepared by the Privatization Administration for the 103,867 square meter tree-covered land. The land, located adjacent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs archive building, was given the functions of trade and housing, special social facility area and recreation.
A BUILDING WILL BE BUILT FOR THE MINISTRY
The height of commercial units such as housing and shopping malls was determined as 12 floors. The objections made during the suspension period to the plan change were rejected and approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 9, 2024. The Privatization Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced in the Official Gazette dated September 3 that it put the privatized land up for sale.

AOÇ arazi sınırı içinde kalan tüm taşınmazların yıkılarak eski haline dönüştürülmesi, bunun maliyetinin hatalı işlemi yaparak araziyi satanların şahsi mülkünden karşılanması lazım
