How does this international criminal empire control most schools and healthcare services. How do people still get their kids baptised and make them do communion. I’m in my 40s and for the past 3 decades it’s been clear the Catholic Church can do what it likes and it’ll still be able to maintain control.

I have friends who scrimped and saved to send children to a couple of these “prestigious” schools.

I sure am seeing the word “Christian” a lot. It sure was a Christian act of Michael Woods (FF) to forgive them all their liability on the matter of abuse.

  4. My dad went to one named he left school at 14. I also went to one on the list and I could almost guess who it was one been saying it for years

If we found out at 308 different post offices across the country there were 2500 instances of child sexual assault ranging from molestation to rape, every post office would be turned upside down and the perpetrators would face the full force of the law.

  6. Went to one of these schools. Thankfully, long after the rampant abuse that went on throughout the country and largely loved my time there. Still, there were a few older priests who knocked around, and there was… a particular vibe about them.

  7. The school I went to is listed here. Really doesn’t surprise me – there were so many creepy fuckers teaching at the school when I was there.

  8. Now multiply all of those numbers by 10 and we’ll be a small bit closer to finding out what the actual figures are.

The Sisters of Mercy should be forced to reveal which schools these allegations pertain to. People should know if they or their children were under the care of abusers. And further victims may feel able to come forward if they know someone else has already done so.

Your heart has to wonder many people aren’t counted in these figures? How many still felt they couldn’t come forward, how many are dead, and how many died by suicide or addiction because of the trauma these orders caused?

  10. I’m starting to think that leaving an ultimately unaccountable organisation prone to actively covering up mass sexual and physical child abuse to run our schools might be something to just maybe reconsider.

    Possibly.
