Turns out the worst person on the Jeremy Kyle show was Jeremy himself. Who’d have thought it???

I’d genuinely be curious to see the results of a poll commissioned today asking “Did you ever watch the Jeremy Kyle Show? And if you did, did you enjoy it?” as I suspect there would be a lot of fibbing going on.
Obviously it had enough viewers to be on TV almost daily for 14 years so a lot of people must have watched it and enjoyed it, but I doubt many people would admit it now.

I’m shocked that on such a show this would happen, it’s almost like it’s what these shows are about.

Its a bear baiting show but by far not the worst worry in terms of suicide numbers. I’m only surprised there isnt more pressure to take the other off air and that there wasnt any other suicides linked to Kyle in 14 years.

It was funny this show and a lot of people also had a good laugh at the stupidity of some people on that show

I wonder how many psychological abusers were enabled by that show. If you can’t accept your partner’s word then you should leave them, not berate and question them so much they feel a lie detector is their only option.
The lie detector as a weapon – never once was it said on stage how flawed the test is. The participants aren’t reading the straplines rolling across the TV’s at home. The test was treated like it was infallible on stage.
The psychological abuse of the love triangle was pretty strong on that show too, people being set up to fight over some asshole. A lot of participants needed counselling to get them away from the relationships, rather than being on the show.

Even when I was as young as 12, I could tell that the whole show was wrong and Jeremy Kyle was this fake holier than thou piece of shit but I still couldn’t take my eyes away from it because it so perfectly tapped in to some of our worst impulses.  Whilst obviously Jeremy Kyle and everyone else involved with making the show are the ones mainly responsible for all this shit; the people who watched it, especially the ones who knew better like me undoubtedly played a part in it too.

I hate Jeremy Kyle he’s a smarmy smug cunt that actively used vulnerable people for entertainment. The fact he’s still out there spouting shit and making money from it is criminal

Always enjoyed the music video for let it go by chase & status, does a good job of showing the hypocrisy of these type of shows.

The Jeremy Kyle shitshow is also based on a fraud.
The entire ‘lie detector’ and DNA test bits were faked to show whatever they think will get the best audience reaction.
ALL the “you are the daddy” results need to be re-done by a real testing firm and funded 100% by ITV to compensate for their evil lying shitty ways.
No surprise from ITV though. The firm that got caught rigging game shows, and just kept on doing it cause the fine was smaller than the profits. Ant & Dec made millions. never even got a slap on the wrist
