My wife got this message on her WhatsApp (swiss number ofc).
We saw scam attempts on WhatsApp from fake Interpol police some weeks ago – I got like 4 of these, wifey 2 or something.
This one is a new one tho. Please, make sure you not click any links. Warn your parents, grand parents as those are most susceptible to that kind of scams.

This one is not new at all, has been around since a few years.
But if there is a new wave, a warning does not hurt.

Definitely not new, although it’s weird that they wrote an SMS/RCS text and not directly in WhatsApp.
