  1. > Justice Alexandre de Moraes issued the ban on Friday in response to X owner Elon Musk’s refusal to comply with court orders to block certain accounts and to identify a legal representative

You have to be a journalist critical of Musk or his companies to get banned from X.

I can’t even find info on the accounts that Brazil wants blocked. In theory I’m not a fan of blocking accounts governments don’t like. But also it sounds like X failed to provide a representative. If you believe X it sounds like the judge threatened the representative personally. If you believe the judge they are misrepresenting the situation.

There’s a lot of misinformation and not very much journalism. All the news I can find is written to appeal to people who have already made up their minds on the issue (despite knowing very little about what’s happening) based on their opinion of Elon Musk, which is unfortunate.

  2. Billionaires being more powerful than nation states is a reality again and it will lead to global instability. James Bond movie plots happening in real time and be a sure Elon Musk is one of the villains.
