  1. Well…..the Orange Dipshit always wanted to see military in the streets. Deploy the Guard and protect the election, Biden. Watch the moron right-wings heads explode with, “wait…this what we wanted…but now we can’t cheat….error….error….exterminate….exterminate….”

  2. We need very strong and unambiguous laws to protect election workers both while they are working and afterwards.

  3. Do the feds give a shit or are they just going to sit there and let this happen? It’s kind of their job to stop things like this from happening.

  4. The replacement workers will be even more easily bullied because of their lack of experience and lack or expertise in the voting system. And most of these new workers will also be women.

  5. Hey guys, teacher here. You’ll get used to it. If you want a good coping skill, a lot of us have taken up drinking and light drugs. Just ask a teacher, we can show you how.

  6. How hard is it to volunteer for one of these spots? Don’t think I would have too much of a problem with these weirdos.

I will never forgive Trump for what he did to this country. I never recall such fear around electrons before. I feel like I am living in a banana republic.

I figured the GOP getting 100,000 ‘poll watchers’ together would turn into problems. It’s a hard enough job working an election without 500 Karens out to prove you are going to steal it without any actual knowledge of how elections work.

  9. Last I went it was just a bunch of maga supporters. in charge. This was also during the time when maga were lining outside other polling places with guns, scaring away so many voters. It was in a county with prominent Latino population, but sadly it was also in a church that was very white.

fortunately I am in a very blue city, although I suppose they could deploy some rednecks to glare at me as I walk into the school, show my ID, fill out my ballot for Harris-Walz, and put it in the ballot vacuum. I’ll wave and smile as I leave

  11. Its insane how easy it is to get people to be scared now. At this point, why didn’t they just start doing this years ago? If its this effective that people are quitting and being replaced with MAGA loyalists, then the plan is working perfectly.

Mail in ballots. You can’t intimidate a piece of mail. We in Colorado do it correctly.

Republicans are against mail in ballots for a few reasons, inability to intimidate being one of them.

Can we use some of the grass roots funding to hire security for the election workers? This form of domestic terrorism must be dealt with.

  14. No no no… we can’t have that. Then they get replaced with idiots, traitors, and assholes.

    Let them threaten.

    Let them attack.

    Let them murder.

Let them show themselves for who they really are; enemies of the state, enemies of the United States.

Don’t let their fear control you.

I hope the political obsession with cult-like behavior fades within the next four years. I’m so tired of people living within the confines of their political bubbles. There’s so much more to life than just politics.

  17. I was an election official for about fifteen years. It’s a hard job when everyone’s behaving. Now that there are so many assholes, I feel for these folks. I hope they reconsider; we need them.

  18. I have a friend starting a full-time job in 2 weeks, deciding which ballots are or aren’t valid (along with his ultra Maga partner) in the largest district in a swing state.

He has strongly hinted to me he/they would favor 1 side (maga).

He is my best friend, but I feel an obligation to report this. I don’t know how or to whom
I don’t live in the US.

Notably, these are in tiny red counties. Here’s what I think – they can’t believe there’s even 20% anti MAGAs in their midst: I follow a reddit about wives and husbands of Q people.
Q Casualities, has the many sad stories of people stuck in marriages to spouses that went crazy into MAGA Q conspiracie like stollen elections, bloodsucking Dems, etc.

Q is turning formerly normal GOP voters who might tolerate a Dem or Ind spouse, turning these Qs into conspiracy crazed QTrumplicans who no longer tolerate political differences.

These victims are in flag-festooned houses, so you’d think the whole voter pool in that neighbood is MAGA. After ellection day, even though those votes can’t be individually discerned (votes are still kept private) suddenly there’s surprise votes against Trump.

These casualties have to pretend to be as Trumplican to save their marriages, or are teens and 20s still at home, but are near divorce or runaways.

So their votes reveal there is mystifying nonMAGA voting happening secretly within tiny red 1,000-voter counties where entire neighborhoods are houses festooned in MAGA flaggery.

So this sparks conspiracies of voteswitching or witchhunts to oust who these traitors are: wives, husbands, aunts, uncles, and newly fledged adults secret votes.

  20. I’m planning to work the election this fall, we need more folks to do it to have the max number of polling places open.

  21. This was always the goal. Get the honest people out at the local level and replace them with Trumpers who will do anything they can to help Trump win, the will of the voters be damned.

But conversely – harassing election workers is expensive fun. Look at how Guiiani is now having to sell his home to pay the two he maligned who got death threats. And Harris has hired the best Marc E Elias, who killed Trump’s 60 lawsuits, to represent these and keep it safe. Polls need to post this info at polling places for the wannabe violators of these laws.

Is there anything we as the general public can do to help support our local election officers and offices?

Dear Youth- you want to know what you can do? Become an election official. It’s an easy job, you do it 2 or maybe 3 days a year, and you can tell people like this to STFU.

I’ve been an election official for like, 15 years, and I’m still by far the youngest person in my town. Most people doing this are elderly and quite frankly, shouldn’t have to put up with this bullshit.
