russian wikipedia editors (in your case armenian) are working hard, almost every wikipedia page about my country is always being reedited to a russian propaganda version. Both in the English, russian and even the Kazakh wikipedias
We have wiki clubs at some schools and universities, where students are constantly correcting and adding information. WikiBilim foundation

I believe “disputed territory” does not implicate any legal ownership, but simply that there is a dispute or disagreement over an area.
However, the fact that the legal ownership is not clearly stated, and there is only the vague reference “surrounding occupied territories” (not saying it was occupied by Armenians) is problematic in my opinion.

come on, they have Agri-dag on their coat of arms. Agri-dag is far from being a disputed territory for centuries already.
Let wiki be the only place for those “disputes” 🙂

For context it seems important what the EU Parliament had to say on this issue. Some quotes:
„The EU Parliament (…)
1. Condemns in the strongest terms the pre-planned and unjustified military attack by Azerbaijan against the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh“ …
2. Stresses that this attack represents a gross violation of international law and human rights and a clear infringement of the trilateral ceasefire statement of 9 November 2020 and of the commitments that Azerbaijan made in the negotiations mediated by the EU; recalls that the attack took place in the context of a major humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, following Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin corridor for the past nine months, in violation of Baku’s commitments and of the legally binding orders of the ICJ; reminds Azerbaijan that the use of coercive practices to remove a civilian population from a territory may amount to a crime against humanity and could fall under the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide;“.

De facto it used to be disputed territory, due to the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh.
De jure it was never disputed, not even by Armenia
