  1. Women voters are registering in great numbers! Let’s hope it’s enough for a convincing landslide, as that is how we win.

  2. Good i hope they turnout in record numbers while not my top issue as i am male i absolutely Support women having the right to make their own medical decisions. Democracy and climate Change are my top issues.

There were several months this year where I was repeatedly seeing polls asking voters of various demographics to pick their top issue, and abortion/reproductive freedom wasn’t even an option on them.

One went to various college campuses to poll college age voters and they didn’t have it as an option, so the spin became that college kids didn’t really care about abortion bans.

They were actively avoiding the issue and pretending it didn’t exist to push a narrative.

  4. Where is the asshole who told me last yr abortion was old news and wouldn’t be relevant in 2024. It’s THE issue

  5. It’s fantastic that Biden’s no longer the nominee. I don’t have any massive issues with what Biden did as president, but he was hesitant/wasn’t willing to make abortion one of the main issues. Abortion is one of the main issues.

This wasn’t my top issue (a basic human right for women….) until the corrupt SCOTUS overturned decades of precedence.

I was thinking about this earlier… Republicans would be doing a lot better in elections if they didn’t undo RvW and then go full on anti abortion

  8. That’s because ‘abortion’ has been an education in ‘dog catches car’ for Republicans, and a wake up call about dominionism for everyone else. It now covers everything from IVF bans to forced birth by abused little kids to miscarriages normally treated with routine D&C now being a possible death sentence. And the kooks driving this legislation are just getting started.

  9. This can’t be true. A republican on CNN said that abortion is not among the top five issues. Who is lying, women or a republican on CNN?

  10. I, as a woman, want the same amount of rights as a man. We don’t see the government monitoring a man’s sperm count.

  11. I’ve always thought the right didn’t actually want Roe v Wade to be overturned because they were afraid it would energize women to vote democrat (as they should). Ladies, the time has come. Vote. Our freedom depends on it.

  12. I hope the overturning of Roe v Wade results in the destruction of the Republican party. Rights, once granted, should not be rescinded.

  13. Politicians and churches shouldn’t be telling people what medical procedures they can or cannot receive. This should be a top issue for all people, not just women.

What procedure do they want to ban next? Do heart transplants subvert Thor’s will?

“women also remember oxygen a key component for life”. Like, how can any woman be on the fence on this without being the result of some sort of mental trauma?

If someone is still unconvinced on this issue please watch the movie

    4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days

  16. As a guy, I don’t want government to interfere with a woman’s choice what to do with her body.

  17. It’s 2027, and the full weight of Project 2025 has crushed what was once the land of the free. The United States has transformed into a theocratic dictatorship under Christian nationalism, where religious doctrine dictates every aspect of life. The government enforces a rigid moral code, criminalizing anything deemed “immoral” by the state. Women have lost the right to choose, forced into lives defined by patriarchal control, with strict bans on contraception and abortion. The LGBTQ+ community has been pushed into the shadows, their existence illegal, with severe punishments for those who dare to love who they love or express their true identity.

Freedom of speech is a distant memory, as dissenting voices are silenced through imprisonment or worse. The media has become a tool of propaganda, broadcasting only state-approved messages, while books, films, and art that challenge the regime’s ideals have been banned or destroyed. People live in fear, constantly under surveillance, knowing that even a whispered criticism could lead to ruin. The dream of democracy has withered away, replaced by a nightmare where the government enforces not just laws, but belief. The America we once knew is gone, and in its place stands a cold, unrecognizable nation where freedom is just a word from a forgotten past.

Abortion should be legal and never been overturned. I won’t vote for anyone who is against abortion.

  19. Well yeah because women especially younger women do not want to be objects and being told what to do by men especially what they can and cannot do to their bodies. Big reason why there is a big increase in male incels because toxic masculinity has infected young men. Women don’t want to be seen as property so they are not “dating” these men and in return these incels are angry and hateful and vote Republican in order to “punish” women who spurned them through these anti abortion laws.

  20. My motto is that if Jeff Bezos doesn’t care about it, then it is not the fight worth fighting right now. The elite are stealing everything from us, and folks are worried about an unwanted baby. Wake up to the real fight right now and stop fighting culture war and social issue fights. We are totally f’ed

  21. Abortion should be a top issue for everyone, including men. An unwanted child isn’t only a burden on the mother, but also on the potential father too. This is as much of a men’s right issue as it is a woman’s. The government has **zero** right in altering people’s future regardless of their gender.

  22. You know, I’m not sitting around thinking “gee, one side supports women’s reproductive rights, and I’d really like to vote for them… but the other side wants to cut taxes for giant corporations and deport any brown person they so much as suspect as being foreign-born, and all that sounds great, too! How ever will I decide?”

  23. 1877KlownsForKids on

Civil rights is my top issue, which includes equality under the law for reproductive healthcare.

  24. They should. It’s a no-brainer.
Our country has never been a Christian theocracy.
Next, they will take away right to vote and to have a career.

  25. OmicronPerseiNate on

I’m baffled this is political issue. If you don’t want to have an abortion, don’t get one. It’s really that simple. Why does it have to be legislated?

  26. I’m a Texan. What pisses me off is that my mom who has two D&C’s for miscarriages decades ago completely fails to see that wouldn’t be an option for me unless I was septic. She just keeps going on rants about how the liberals want to kill babies.

No, mom. I have two daughters and would like them to have access to healthcare. The same healthcare you had.
