But unfortunately the science lost and upper middle-class “yay, Joe Wicks and sourdough, let’s lockdown for longer!” sensibilities won out instead.
This is one tax Rachel Reeves should introduce. The financially secure property owner cohort of 2020-21 should be paying a permanent 10% tax surcharge for the rest of their lives to repay a small amount of the damage that was done to satisfy that group.

Let’s not forget. If it were up to teachers unions we would still be in lockdown – people who opposed this at the time were treated like they supported eugenics.
