I think it’s good MPs have social lives. Especially ones which lots of Brits can relate too. It’s better than her having some very out of touch hobbies.

  2. Why would this need defending? What can anyone have against this?

Unless it’s impacting them in actively performing any duties then who cares?

  3. Disgusting aberrant activity. She should have spent her time painting model buses on to wine crates like a normal person.

  4. Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy will be doing one shortly… and has done in the past. Kids indi disco I think.

    > with Nadine Dorries writing an article saying that Ms Rayner’s behaviour “demeans her office”.

Even if you are stupid enough to count this as “demeaning the office”, it’s pretty fucking tame compared to some of the shit in the last 14 years.

  6. It’s incredibly disturbing that Michael Gove thinks he is helping Angela by wading into this…

  7. Pointless news article in response to another pointless news article. It’s nice to know MPs are human and capable of having fun.

Can’t stand Gove but him coked up at that club was actually quite fun. Rayner DJing seems fun. What’s to dislike? Unless you have a personality vacuum.

  8. Hang on… an MP might be a real person with a real life and real interests that normal people can relate to… I suppose it might catch on.

MP has some fun instead of being paid £15770 an hour for being an “advisor”, like economy crashmeister Truss.

I know which I’d prefer standing MPs to be doing.

I’m sick of these ghoulish monsters abusing working class eardrums, think how many people must be mildly perturbed. Indefensible, Gove should be drowned in a bucket of Angela Rayner’s piss.

  11. Hahaha of course people are frothing at the chops over this. Good for her, enjoy your holiday

  12. I still don’t know why people are making it out to be a big deal?

She’s hardly that pissed she’s stumbling home with vomit down her dress and one shoe missing and picking fights with random people.

If she was, then I’d understand it.

  13. Not a single comment here is complaining, I like to think this shows no matter what side of the political spectrum you fall, we can all agree that Angela hasn’t done anything wrong. MPs are allowed to enjoy themselves in their spare time!

    > A claim that Mr Gove tried to avoid paying the £5 entry charge by repeatedly stating that he was the Chancellor of the Dutchy of Lancaster was rejected by friends of the minister.

As much as I despise Gove politically, I do get the feeling that a night out with him would be top banter.
