She’s right. Trump treated those dead soldiers like campaign props. He treated their graves like cheap prostitutes, to be used and discarded.

Trump does not respect veterans or active servicemembers. He is not fit to be president. We need to defeat him in November

Honoring our fallen heroes is NOT a radical San Francisco value

Edit for clarification: Just to be clear, I mean that it is a core American value not a value that she doesn’t posses.

I’m sure the next attempted insurrection will still be made up of disproportionate numbers of law enforcement and military personnel who are kind of upset about the Arlington thing, but firmly believe Trump has the ability to stop a cabal of Democrat pedophiles from manufacturing adrenochrome in a pizza shop basement.

  4. True, and he probably pooped his pants in the process. A lot of people are saying that he pooped his pants at Arlington.

  5. >Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday condemned the altercation that occurred this week at Arlington National Cemetery between Donald Trump campaign staffers and cemetery officials.

    >”Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt,” she wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

    >”This is a man who has called our fallen service members ‘suckers” and ‘losers’ and disparaged Medal of Honor recipients,” she wrote, referring to comments the former president made in 2018 about Americans killed in World War I and a remark he made this month.

    >“A man who, during a previous visit to the cemetery, reportedly said of fallen service members, ‘I don’t get it. What was in it for them?’ This is a man who is unable to comprehend anything other than service to himself,” Harris went on.

    >“If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude,” Harris wrote.

    >“And it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.”

It was illegal when he treated a can of Goya beans this way.

The incident at ANC is well beyond being merely illegal.

  7. And she’s entirely correct, but I won’t be shocked if some new outlet latches onto this and says she’s somehow wrong on a slight technicality.

  8. I love Harris (more and more every day), but I’m not going to give her credit for pointing out the painfully obvious.

  9. Because he did. Committed multiple crimes in the process too, including assault/battery.

I’m just outside of Philadelphia and I can smell the shit that just filled Donald’s briefs. Maybe they’ll cut the shit stained undies up and put them in trump cards like they did his suit he got from JC Penny.

  11. Let’s be honest. KH is only saying that

    … because it’s true.

Oh, and calling it an “alleged incident” in the article is terrible reporting. There’s nothing alleged about it.

  12. Who does a thumbs up and a big smile over the grave of a deceased soldier?

    Donald Trump.

  13. Trump is a National embarrassment. What VP Harris said about his disrespecting our fallen soldiers cannot be repeated enough:

“As Vice President, I have had the privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It is a solemn place; a place where we come together to honor American heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this nation.

It is not a place for politics.

And yet, as was reported this week, Donald Trump’s team chose to film a video there, resulting in an altercation with cemetery staff. Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt.

This is nothing new from Donald Trump. This is a man who has called our fallen service members “suckers” and “losers” and disparaged Medal of Honor recipients.

A man who, during a previous visit to the cemetery, reportedly said of fallen service members, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”

This is a man who is unable to comprehend anything other than service to himself.

If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.

And it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.

I will always honor the service and sacrifice of all of America’s fallen heroes, who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our beloved nation and our cherished freedoms. I mourn them and salute them. And I will never politicize them.”

I feel like the real tragedy of Trump is how much he lowers the level of discussion. This is **madness** that we need to publicly state not to be a prick at a military cemetary. It’s not even culture wars at this point, I don’t know what it is but I wish it wasn’t a thing.

  15. She needs to be saying this to a camera, to a reporter or a rally, not posting in social media. She needs to be more forceful in my opinion. People will appreciate it. She started strong but has been dwindling a bit lately.

I’ll say it again – his mere presence at a military cemetery is a desecration, given the things he’s said about veterans and fallen soldiers.

    Harris was right.
