  1. I assume if it is about Trump’s early years it will be in black and white (and possibly be silent)?

The most hilarious part about this movie is that a right wing billionaire paid for it thinking the film would be a positive outlook for Dump. They tried to stop the release because of how shitty it makes him out to be, and rightly so.

    Can’t wait to watch it!

  3. As a former fan of the Washington football franchise, the fact that Dan Snyder paid for this thinking it would be pro-Trump makes this extra sweet.

No matter how it portrays him, at the showings there will be Trump fans wearing ear bandages and praying in the aisles for him. The cult is seriously deranged.

  5. You know he’s gonna watch it. Followed by a complete meltdown. It’s gonna be awesome.

I haven’t seen movies like this work in the past. Even if they did, October is too late.

True story: Friend was (is?) for many years a very close friend of an NFL owner. As a result, he had met all of the owners in many social situations.

Me: I bet most of them are assholes.

Him: No, to the contrary; all of them are pretty nice, friendly, easy going guys who never flaunt their successes. Well, except one.

    Me: Jerry Jones, right?

Him: No. He’s actually a great guy. It’s Dan Snyder.

    Me: Yeah, fans hate him.

Him: Not nearly as much as ALL of the other owners do.

  8. I’m so fucking tired of seeing and hearing the name Donald Trump. I don’t care what kind of movie this is, there is no way I will ever watch it.

  9. The director doesn’t think DT would hate it and I’m inclined to agree. I think he’s proud of screwing people over. I think he revels in memories of sexual assault because to him it’s a statement of manliness to force himself on women.

The man focuses so much on having the ability to do whatever he wants. I bet a movie showing him doing disgusting, sleazy, illegal, and immoral acts but getting away with it would be his most favorite thing ever.

  10. It’s not controversial just because delicate Trump wants it to be. The only thing controversial about it is that Trump hates free speech and is trying to block it.

  11. “Objection your honor!”

    “On what grounds?”

    “It’s devastating for my case!”

  12. I know this will probably get buried, and don’t know where else to post, as I look at r/politics, I have noticed the majority of headlines are all about Trump again. Same with the NYT, the entire front page is about Trump/Vance.

So the October Surprise will be a surprise to none of us who have been paying attention, but still glad this makes it to the U.S. before the vote

It would appear lots of GOP men enjoy that aspect of Trump, how he diminishes women, insults anyone who isn’t white. For sure he’s disgusted his daughter married a Jew, but hey, the money.

  15. Unless it’s an alternate history with an ending like Inglorious Bastards, I’m not interested in seeing one more thing related to this human-shaped sack of dog vomit.

He could put a knife on screen into his wife and the American people would not change the situation.
