A decade plus of Tory cuts have already fucked us but now when Labour add one more they’ll get to carry the can.
What the fuck were we doing with the 14 years of cuts we suffered under Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak?

I was under the impression we could tax the energy companies and leave the low and middle earners alone right? Right?

Sounds like she wants to implement Austerity!
Kind of hypocritical….

Haven’t they just spent the last 14 years talking about how austerity has killed millions?
“but its all the previous governments fault”
Thats exactly what last government said about their austerity too?
Rinse and repeat, just change the rosette.
What difference does this switching between red and blue make? By the ens of this parliment the national debt will have ballooned further, immigration hitting all time highs, crime up, quality of life down, more people permenantly relying on the welfare state etc etc etc
And then we go to the polls to vote red or blue in to just carry it on again.
This is insanity.

We had the chance in 2019 but we preferred the guy who hid in a fridge to the man who wanted to change things.
The establishment got what they wanted and we deserve the consequences.

Labours going to need 10 years of clawing at our wallets to get us to a good place with the economy. None of this is short term.
I just hope the British people don’t have a short memory and go back to voting the Tories back in.

Let’s be brutally frank in the immediate short term with what they’ve been left on the table, it seems like managed decline is the only sensible solution until we accept we have to live to lower standards where we only get the services we can afford & at the moment the country doesn’t have a pot to pee in.
I’m willing to give them 12 months as we should start seeing the direction of travel is by then (or its just Austerity 2.0). At that point – you cut to the chase and stick Nigel in as that’s what the narrative seems to be pushing towards isn’t it?

One of the local GPs near me had one nurse available until she went on maternity and GP told my mums friend with learning disability you’ll just have to go to A&E to have bandages changed. More cuts is just unsustainable.

This is all pointless , until you control the illegal immigration. The 22 billion black hole they talk about is 7.5 years of keeping them in hotels at current rate. The answer is simple no control of the immigration means no control of your economy.

*socialist labour will never win, we need Tory-lite Starmer to beat the tories*
*Labour implements austerity*
*shocked pikachu face*.
I’m surprised people are surprised by this. If only parties that implement policies like this are electable then policies like this are bound to happen.
