Trump owes that family an apology. Not that he will give them one, but he does *owe* them one.

Oh wait, they did not get permission from the family of the guy whose grave they were standing over with Thumbs Up and Shit Grin?
Color me not surprised.

Trump is absolutely despicable.
Has there ever been anyone in politics, ever, with so many obvious examples to show how much he hates and despises the military and military personnel? I can’t think of anyone who has come even close.
Trump is on his own island when it comes to showing a complete disgust and disdain for our military and our soldiers.

So fucked up. I can’t wait for this clown to perish and I hope his grave is the target of constant vandalism.

Arlington cemetery, peaceful but solemn. That cemetery is a place that binds us together as a nation. A countries shared sacrifice .
The clown Trump , thumbs up with a grin. He’s the winner in a field of losers.
Look around you, it ain’t just Trump.

All of those families know the history. Trump promised to withdraw from Afghanistan but did not set the withdrawal into motion until he was running for office again.
He cut a deal with the Taliban to boost his reelection. He would pull all Americans out of Afghanistan a couple of months after the inauguration if they would stop their attacks during the campaign season.
This planned sudden withdrawal of American forces became known throughout the Afghan army we were training. They all cut their own deals with the Taliban to switch sides just as the Americans started leaving.
Trump didn’t win the election, and out of spite, he didn’t order anyone to plan the imminent withdrawal. He also withheld this information from the Biden transition team. They only found out there was no plan for the imminent withdrawal after Biden moved into the White House.
The rest is history. Biden shifted the move-out date six months into the future so plans could be drawn up and logistics put into place. The Taliban considered this to be breaking the deal so they made their own plans.
That’s why those marines are dead.
And the guy that set it all into motion wants to stand on their son’s grave and give a thumbs up sign!?!
So it would be tacky and disrespectful for you or I to shoot promo material near those graves. For Trump to do it, knowing they are dead because he wanted to give a boost to his earlier campaign is unforgivable.
We’re re talking La Brea tar pit levels of tacky.

The law is clear. The 78 year old convicted felon only cares about himself.

The Trump campaign is extremely desperate to counter the ‘suckers and losers’ comment which must be tanking his support from veterans and military.
Internal polling for this cohort and their families must be dire for him to pull such a tawdry stunt.
This must worsen his standing as it is akin to filming Coca-Cola or McDonalds advertising among the headstones.

You shouldn’t be there for a photo. That’s the point. If you’re there for a photo op, you’re there for the wrong reasons. Even if it’s ok’d by someone close to it, the rules are there for a reason.

Well now that I know the official was a woman, I’m not surprised that Steven Cheung said she was “having a mental episode” for attempting to enforce the law. The contempt that entire campaign has for women isn’t even shocking anymore.
I also don’t blame her for attempting anonymity. I hope his rabid fans don’t figure it out.

While this is no doubt a completely tasteless and an incredibly disrespectful photo op, I’m not the least bit surprised. Let’s not forget this is the same guy who took a picture with an infant whose parents were killed in a mass shooting in El Paso. All the while he holds the thumbs up, like that thumbs up can only be interpreted as everything is gonna be alright for me and Melania. And also it should be mentioned that the El Paso shooter mirrored and parroted the rhetoric of DJT in his manifesto. Truly sickening when you see that photo.

I’m amazed that not everyone can see what type of person Trump is. A psychopathic user. He’s never thought of anyone else, because he wasn’t raised properly.

Time and time again we’ve seen people not step forward to call out injustice and wrongs because of the fear of death threats from MAGA cultists. It’s understandable, but sad, and a condemnation of the rampant extremism in the GQP.
