Emergency warning for storm surge issued for Kagoshima

Weather officials have issued a storm surge emergency warning for the Satsuma region in Kagoshima Prefecture as Typhoon Shanshan approaches southern Japan.

Warnings for strong winds and high waves have already been issued for the prefecture, excluding the Amami region.
