    Landing was actually successful, just looked like a landing leg didnt lock into place properly.

    I think that the lack of a launch escape system and the complexity of the landing maneuver is going to prevent starship from ever being man-rated. My personal opinion is that for all of the chatter about Mars, starship is really optimized as a delivery vehicle for starlink and other similar constellations to LEO.

    All of the focus on reusability becomes irrelevant when the mission profile sends the launch vehicle far from Earth. 

  3. Given that they initially envisaged only getting 10 flight, getting 23 is outstanding! Additionally, it was a failure to land. The launch and payload deployment were flawless.
