What on Earth does a country do when a citizen basically decides to ignore a Court Order? We can’t jail him indefintiely, and he _clearly_ refuses to accept the rule of law in this country. Our jails are bursting at the seams, the family needs Garda presence at court appearances ‘cos of their behaviiour … so it all appears like a gigantic waste of resources for a functional nuisance.
And as always it needs reminding: Burke was _not_ a teacher of the kid around which his behaviour stems; he had no real reason or justification to worry that … oh my _gosh_ he would have to use a different pronoun, to the extent he caused a workplace dispute with his employer.
