Trump voters are leaving not because they disagree with his “policies” but rather he is beginning to make them feel embarrassed.

  2. If it took you this long, I’m sorry but there’s no redemption arc available for you.

  3. This is one voter, not the start of a trend. Trump has always been incoherent and unstable, it’s not been an issue before for any of his supporters.

He hasn’t lost any support at all since Biden dropped out. Harris has been winning over undecideds, not Trump supporters. Trump has actually gained a couple of points in the polls recently. These people really are deplorables.

Even if 1% decide to stay home or vote for another candidate, that could be huge come November. His ceiling has been less than 47% in ‘16 & ‘20. If that drops below 45-46% that is great for Harris’ odds. I think his debate performance could be big in helping turn off some of his supporters and if Harris does well, which I expect, she could gain a good portion of the 5-8% who say the are undecided.

  5. So before I click on it: does the article title refer to a *completely fictitious* GOP voter? Or simply to a *merely hypothetical* one?

    Spoiler, anyone?

  6. He’s looking weak and foolish and that’s anathema to their alpha male fantasy they idolize.

“After sitting through Trump’s rambling 100-minute speech in Pennsylvania, a woman who voted for Trump twice changed her mind. “But after listening to that, I’m actually afraid of Trump being president again. I don’t know what he was talking about half the time,” she told The Guardian.”

That’s it. Didn’t see any link to a Guardian Article.

    Super super lame.

  8. They’re definitely getting the expected mileage out of that photo of his makeup making a run for the border in the Arizona sun. I bet he has to have new shirts every few hours as the orange glaze tectonically shifts down his face

  9. It’s not cognitive decline, he’s saying the same things the same way as in 2015. Now, he’s being called out in it as weird

Racist? Nah. Misogynistic? Nah. Weird? No, not us!

My MAGA family is still maga, they’re just not flexing it.

Has he ever had a stable rally?

Or are the performances getting noticeably worse?

“I didn’t mind the racism, and hat whole rape thing was pretty much what I was told to expect, so I was okay going in. Also, I was completely fine with the coup, and hell, I even thought he might be able to redirect a hurricane with a sharpie and a couple of hydrogen bombs.

    “But now he’s looking a little unstable, and . . . well, I don’t know.”

    – A particularly enlightened Trump voter

Nah they are saying that and still showing up to vote R. Like they do all the time.

They’re embarrassed to support him – publicly. They’ve always known he was as stupid as he was evil, but they still voted for him – multiple times. So, these inbred traitors will still vote for him; they’ll just deny it.

  14. It always amuses me when I see these headlines that such and such a thing cause a voter or a commentator to turn on Trump. It’s like, oh, that was the thing? It wasn’t the long line of other things he did…?
