How is it that we have an elected councilor like Gavin Pepper who is actively fanning the flames of violence and terror in this country? Here he is providing false information on this incident.

Here he is at the Coolock riots.

Here he is threatening the owner of a pub in Ringsend, which was then burned down three days later.

Is there no behavioral standards councilors have to abide by?

Misinformation, propaganda and just fake news designed to rile people up, instill fear and anger… this is such a massive problem and will only get dramatically worse the longer it goes on.

It really feels like no one is discussing it or trying to do anything about it. People will get hurt and even killed before it pops up on the goverments radar.

So much of the.far right protests and riots could be avoided if action was taken against these things. As always, our government are utterly useless at being pro active. Hell, they’re pretty useless at reacting too.

  3. How far will things have to go before someone gets killed over misinformation?
The rise of misinformation since Elmo purchased Twitter is insane.
