Say what you like about Noel’s lyrics, there’s not many songs that illustrate Bertrand Russell’s Barber’s Paradox as simply and comprehensively as *Wonderwall* does.

Tickets available via TicketMaster, so they’ll be sold out 10 minutes before they go on sale and you’ll only be able to buy even more inflated tickets from touts at 9am.

I can’t wait for the headlines:
“Gloves-off-bury: Noel Gallagher punches brother Liam Gallagher on stage.”
“Liam Gallagher snogs Noel’s ex, Noel livid!”
“Wanderful Wonderwall – Liam goes walkabout before concert”
“New album Oasis cancelled after ruckus in Rutland!”

I saw them a few times, but the show they did at millennium stadium double headed with Foo Fighters was awful.
Low energy and not worth the ticket, Foos were amazing and made them look like petulant amateurs

Not the kind of music I listen to these days, I’ve been a metalhead for a couple of decades, but fuck it, this is the sound of my childhood, if the gods of Ticketmaster smile on me, I’m fucking there.

I’m still not sure which brother is which.
Is Liam the singer and tambourine player?

I think I read somewhere that successful bands are now very rare. Only three weeks in the past 5 years has a band been top of the charts, and two weeks was The Beatles. It’s kinda nuts to see that the reunion of a 30 year old band is bigger than any new band making waves.

Said it on another thread but it’s sad they couldn’t reunite for the Manchester memorial concerts but they can now Noel needs to find £20 million for his divorce

I saw them several times in the 90s. They were shit.

I’d love it if they trolled everyone by only playing songs from Dig Out Your Soul. “Oi, this ones from our latest fooking album!”

This will be a good barometer of just how bat shit crazy the prices for gigs are these days.

I think Oasis were great and the music is still good. I saw them a couple of times in the 90’s, G-Mex being the best one. This time though I will be priced out or unable to get a ticket. Event prices now are a complete and utter rip off then you have to factor in spending money when you get there which again is a rip off. Sad really as I wouldn’t have minded going. Reunions are just shameless money grabs from the people they know can now afford it.

Grew up on Oasis and love their music, but I find it despicable that they can put their differences aside now for money, but couldn’t do it for the Manchester attack tribute.
Even if it was just for the one show it would’ve been a huge display of unity and meant so much to the city, not to mention raised money for the victims.
They could’ve done that and then done their cash grab reunion tour years later anyway. The fact that they refused to completely kills any excitement I had/have for an Oasis reunion. They just don’t deserve (as people) the adoration they receive.

My first and only time seeing them was the last ever concert they did at Heaton park. I got absolutely happy drunk, soaked with the rain and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I’m not paying a fortune to fail to relive that
