  1. Can we just not have the whole vaccine thing on a Monday. Yesterday was bad enough.

Edit) please just get your vaccine.

  2. Our daughter had RSV a week after being born and was hospitalized for 10 days. Awful and scary, I’d have Bill Gates bum me with a microchip before having to go through that again.

  3. Then make it easier to get vaccinated?

Honestly trying to get the whooping cough vaccine last year while I was pregnant was painful. Endless phone calls, cancelled appointments, confused looking receptionists. I imagine it will be the same with this vaccine.

  4. I’d love to although I’m male and old. Had an appointment for last Monday, the bus didn’t turn up, (change of timetable), and the next one was too late to get the jab.

Another appointment on Friday, no buses at the right time so I walked 3 miles. The place was locked and dark, no-one around, so after waiting 20 minutes walked home, another 3 miles. Only just stopped limping today from a sore hip.

  5. We almost lost our son at two weeks old to RSV two years ago. He ended up contracting pneumonia too and has had lasting respiratory problems since. He is hospitalised every winter and sometimes in other times of the year too. I wish this had been around before. If we ever have a third I’ll 100% be getting it.
