It’s natural to want to see what’s going on in an emergency situation, but please put the camera away 📵 If you witness a medical emergency or accident, respect the privacy of both patients and staff and don’t take any photos or recordings.

A timely reminder from NAS
I was in work and one of the managers handed me his phone and said zoom in and tell me what you see. It was the aftermath of horrible crash with body parts.
He wondered why I lost it at him, the fuck do I want to be seeing that for?
The fact this even needs to be said is shocking.
They must have read my post on r/askireland. People who take out their phones at accidents are just pure sados.
So happy to see this and would love to see more of this. Hopefully it make them dopes to put down the phone and some respect.
Something seriously wrong with someone when their first thought upon encountering a scene like this is to take out their phone. Even if just driving past the scene. Sick fucks. The only time I came upon an horrific accident I was more concerned with making sure that the wife and kids didn’t look!
In Germany they call them Gaffers, and there’s specific laws against it and they do get enforced!
Imagine coming across a car crash in the days before mobile phones, and whipping out a video recorder to record it.
Have see this first hand , a car crashed into my local and everyone had the phones out taking photos and recording , wasn’t a nice sight to see if I’m being honest
