Just watched his documentary on prime. Worth a watch for a nostalgia hit, rip.

Pancreatic cancer is so brutal. Lost my grandmother to it in 2020. One minute she was talkative and independent, the next she was in hospice. R.I.P. Sven 🙁

Rest in peace Sven-Goran Eriksson.
F**k cancer.

Happy memories of him taking over as England manager, when it looked like we wouldn’t qualify for the World Cup after Keegans stint.
Winning 5-1 in Germany, the Beckham free kick against Greece that got us there, beating Argentina in the group stages, then Denmark 3-0, Owens goal against Brazil, then losing 2-1.
Says in the reports that his dad is still alive, also called Sven. Born in 1929.

I find it really displeasing that I learned of this news because I was trying to find that absolutely horrid song by [Bell & Spurling ](https://youtu.be/q33sNrncVmI?feature=shared).
Cancer is horrible, so I hope he went peacefully.

Rest in peace Sven. A top shagger in football management and lovely guy too by all accounts.

He was a much better manager than a lot of the English press give him credit for. RIP.

I couldn’t believe how ill he looked in the documentary, cancer is a horrible disease.
Truly a fascinating man, and I say that as someone not really that invested in the sportsball

At least he got a long, happy and successful life doing what he loved.
Seemed a nice man

Last night I started his documentary on prime then got bored and watched something else.. and now, I read this—Rest in Peace, I’m glad you had a happy and successful life, and I’m sorry I didn’t watch your documentary.

That 5-1 win over Germany was an insane match and what I remember him for. Shame he could not get the likes of Gerrard Lampard, Ferdinand etc. to leave their egos at the door and get them to gel as a team.
