Indie game Soulash II is being review bombed on steam because the creator doesn’t want to change the game to support same sex relations. The creator is being called phobic and other not so nice things because he doesn’t want to virtue signal in his game.

My grandparents survived the nazis, my parents endured communism, I had to live through religious oppression since the age of 10, and now some spoiled brats think I’ll bend my knee to their rainbow flag, or else they’ll type some words.

Personally I think supporting indie creators is good thing (I’ve done my share in realm of hand crafted items, art and jewelry) and in this case it’s even more important since creator gets unfairly attacked.

Using Mark Kern as a source makes this look not so trustworthy to me. The guy is liar, manipulates facts and is just a Twitter grifter.
Also answer the dev gave is not “based” it’s just dumb. LGBTQ+ people are not threat to Poland. No one wants him to “bent knees” before rainbow flag. Typical trying to make yourself a victim behavior.
He’s 36 and says he’s lived under religious oppression since he was 10 (1998).

Someone made a very normal reqest and then he decided to shit all over it starting unnesessary drama and I’m 100% sure he knew about this
He’s response isn’t balanced or fair either – he brought up two totalitarian regimes and religous oppresion and his country as a answer to a reqest to his game
It wouldn’t be as bad if he answered with “I don’t support same-sex marriage with my own personal belives, I won’t add it to the game” (which I don’t agree with) but he decided to be openly aggresive and offensive

This is the most childish temper tantrum of a response I’ve seen. Based on what? The creator’s own cope?
I feel like there’s some context missing.

So the negative reviews seem to match the time he “showed the teeth after a weeklong discussion”, whatever that means.
The twitter reply is not based, it’s kinda unhinged. What religion is oppressed in Poland currently?
