  1. I can’t help thinking that this is more likely an owner error rather than a pet error, I mean, who leaves their passports and visas lying around just waiting to be eaten?

It’s someone’s job to turn a scattering of quotes from a podcast into a full article like this.

  3. Oh I had this exact issue, they must make really tasty passports because it came through in the mail and my dog got to it first and spent the day eating most of the pages.

Most mad I’ve ever been at my dog as the new replacement passport did not arrive in time for my holiday. But at the same time returning the poor thing is a bit much.

It was and still is the only post my dogs ever eaten, so we can only assume passports are tasty.

This is the same women who once said ‘My children ruined my career’ she seems lovely.

  5. I’m guessing she’s never had puppies before. Otherwise she would have put everything valuable away.

They are chewing machines at that age, I fondly remember my pups going through the Velociraptor stage.

Do you know? I don’t care about Lily Allen, her kids, their passports or the dog.

If that makes me a bad person…

  7. This sort of bollocks is precisely why people feel that rescue centres make it so hard to adopt – owning a dog isn’t easy, and the last thing the centres want is for the dogs to come back to them. If they tell you you’re not suitable it’s not a slight against you, it’s a fact.

Puppy does Puppy things, more on this at 10. Seriously though. If you get a puppy you have to be prepared for all this and just giving it back is not an option you should take. What did she expect? A fully trained docile puppy. Clueless people getting dogs during covid is always going to end up like this.

Isn’t it the right thing to do when an owner isn’t up to the job of having a dog?

  10. Woman adopts dog and realises she can’t handle it, so returns it.

I don’t see the problem here. It’s best for the dog and her that she gives it back if she can’t cope with it.

In other words, ‘puppy did puppy things. Spoilt rich owner got rid because puppy had already got her likes and attention’.

  12. She’s always seemed exactly like you’d expect Keith Allen’s daughter to be…

If true it’s a classic case of shite pet ownership. This is a failure on her part not the dogs.

  14. Virtue signalling champagne socialist once again acts like an entitled prick.. imagine noones suprise

I cannot stand her. I wish that people would stop mentioning her on social media and that she just fucks off.

At the end of the clip that I saw shared online about this she said “she was a very badly behaved dog”. She’s a fucking idiot, it’s a puppy that needs to be trained not to destroy your property.

She’s also a massive virtue signaller.

Does anyone remember when she rocked up to Grenfell and appeared in a news interview about it? Apparently Adele also turned up but didn’t feel the need to do that.

  16. Yet again I ask… why do we bother listening to what entertainers think about anything? Horrible moral compass… What a selfish p.o.s.

    >“Passports weren’t the only thing she ate, she was a very badly behaved dog

No, she was a puppy doing puppy things because she’s young and hadn’t been trained yet.

    >and I really tried very hard with her,

    For two weeks

This is the sort of person who should be banned from owning anything more complicated than a pot plant.

Common sense tells you that you put anything chewable and valuable out of the reach of a new puppy. Put the antiques in another room! The cables out of reach! Encase the table legs in drain pipes!

She seems like the sort of person who expects nice things to magically appear without having to work for them.

James Corden or Lily Allen, who is the bigger nob?

She wins it hands down for me. I actually cannot stand her and I feel anger just seeing her name pop up.

  19. With all that’s happening in Bangladesh, Darfur, Afghanistan, developments in the war between Ukraine and Russia, and so on, a woman returning an adopted puppy is apparently news…

We’ve gotta stop linking these nonsense newspaper tosh that serves no purpose other than to farm our information. Ether pay to read or accept all cookies so we can spam you, I chose the third option of just closing the page and walking away.

  21. Dog’s sometimes eat things they shouldn’t if you don’t supervise them. Your dog eats your passport then that’s entirely your own fault.

  22. She’s always been a knob, so this tracks.

At least a puppy would have been adopted out again quickly, hopefully to someone who understood the concept of dog training.

Meh, her dad is an entitled prick, and she acts the same way. Is it disgusting? Yes. Is it surprising? No.

  24. Expensive-Double4219 on

Everything I learn about this woman is against my will. Every week there’s a new Lily Allen post about giving up her dogs or selling feet pictures . Who cares stop giving publicity to these people

  25. idontlikemondays321 on

You move your children to a different continent then blame a puppy because they couldn’t see their dad?

  26. Never liked her. Good to have a solid reason now. My rescue was a feral nightmare when we got him a year and a half ago. He’s a lot better but there’s always more work to do. Her dog didn’t know the difference between a chew toy and something they’re not allowed and he was punished for that. That takes a lot of time.

  27. CandidSalt9547 on

This is just outrage porn. The actual reason was it was a dog that had sustained behavioural problems that Lily Allen and her family weren’t the right people to manage. It happens to tons of people across the country and shaming just makes people less likely to try and rehome these difficult dogs.
