Rapes a child and ruins the rest of her life – you little scamp!

Shouts at a police dog – you vile human being, 3 years in prison!

He was sentenced for the child rape in December and given a two year suspended sentence- this was before the overcrowding. He was in court recently for not informing the government that he was going on holiday. How did he get a two year suspended sentence before the overcrowding issues is the big question.

    >The long-standing plan, described as a ‘one in one out’ policy, was implemented in the north of England following an influx of inmates sentenced in connection with recent rioting.

So we are at the stage where a violent criminal can only be put in jail if someone else is let out. Tell me why we are prioritising jailing peaceful climate protestors again?

  4. Sorry I struggle to believe his sentence is due to the overcrowidng – we see a lot of news stories about rapists getting a very light sentence.

If the prisons are overcrowded why not just use the jails? Why spare him jail?

As ever with the Daily Mail and this sub, crucial information is being left out here.

    * He comitted the rape back in 2005, when he was 14 and the girl was under 14, though her age is not specified that I can see. He is now 32.
    * He was only sentenced for that rape last December. I cannot find an article that explains why, but I’m guessing evidence was found or the victim came forwards. Even though he was sentenced last year, he committed the crime at the age of 14, hence the reduced sentence and avoiding jail.
    * The second crime he should have gone to prison for but didn’t was failing to notify the police that he was going on holiday, which he was required to do under the terms of his suspended sentence. It was successfully argued that in the time since he raped the victim back in 2005, he appears to have lived a normal life.
    * He did not get off scot free this time around:
    * Newman was jailed for two months suspended for 18 months.
    * He has to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.
    * The defendant was fined £2,000 and must pay £420 prosecution costs.

  7. The Daily Mail applying pressure for Labour to pick up the bill, that the Tory’s never did…and build the prisons.

  8. Easy solution to the “overcrowding crisis”. Bypass the cretinous planning permission bullshit and build more prisons. Or, focus on the underlying issues which cause so much criminality in this country. Or do both, do fucking something. This country is remarkably pathetic in almost every respect.

This has to be a sick joke.

So the UK says it’s okay to rape vulnerable people, as we don’t have the room. But if you spread memes or nasty words, they will find the room for you. Tell me I’m wrong as I don’t want to be right about this.

We could deport all the foreign criminals and free up the prison system for nearly 10000 people and perhaps give sentences that fit the crime better then sending people to jail for posting a meme. You know just a thought.

  11. This is a fucking wrong

    Fraud,
    Trespassing
    Stealing

These are crimes im ok with the criminal not doing time

But fucking raping a kid? Sort it out

  12. Just to add some context: the defendant was 14 when the rape happened in 2005 and sentencing guidelines are usually different for children.

  13. So he was 14? How old was the victim? Was it consensual between two kids close in age but technically illegal or was it an actual attack?

That article has almost no useful information.

Let someone out who’s on a drug offence then. Country is run by brain donors.

Once again a bs click bait headline designed to encourage outrage and hate from the daily fail.

Prison would probably be safer for him unless the law gives him the new life he doesn’t deserve.

  17. He is spared jail for child rape yet someone else is going to prison for recent riots. Wtf!
