It’s almost as if we’ve been saying this since 2020, but the selfish grownups wanted their “freedom day” so fuck all the young people who are now dealing with a new health condition or disabled for life. Being stuck in your bed in your 20’s for 4 years sucks, I can’t imagine as a child. But the grownups need to cope and do conspiracy theories, so no cure and reinfections on repeat for you. And if you’re old enough to work or in school, the ministers that caused this mess will vilify you as extra bonus. Yay!
Seriously, is filtering the air in public buildings and funding research really such a big ask? Where are the angry parents? Why aren’t you protecting your kids? Why aren’t the rest of you speaking up? You’re not supposed to be swimming in virus all year round! Were your “summer colds” that enjoyable? This is all preventable! We just need clean air and research, and the UK is doing none of that.
