I was listening to it live when she said “if you think you are tired of Donald Trump, talk to a New Yorker. We’ve had to deal with him for 78 long years.” then apologizing to Florida for him fleeing to their state.

I am surprised the Secret Service didn’t show up to stop her from murdering Trump the way she did.

  2. “Adversarial relationships are not good in politics!” – coming from him, that line is so rich my eyeballs now have diabetes.

  3. Shockmaindave on

When his tax plan eliminated the SALT deduction, that was the 1,001st last straw for him around here.

  4. >[Trump said] Number two is that, on the very distinct possibility I will win the Presidency, wouldn’t it be better for the people of New York State to have a Governor who got along with the President?

Back to the threats I see. Such a weird, weak and small minded man.

Bigger picture – this means Trump is watching the DNC.

I doubt Harris was watching the RNC, or any Trump rally for that matter. What information is she going to get out of it? She likely has some advisors watching it, filtering out a summary and giving her the bits she needs to know, when it’s relevant to know it.

Harris is busy. Trump is watching TV.

I actually thought she was one of the weakest speakers (also not the biggest fan of her as gov), goes to show how trump sees the world in a very weird way to get offended by that

  7. Silly-Scene6524 on

“Adversarial relationships are not good in politics” does he read and think about what he writes?

  8. >“With the vitriol displayed by her on Monday night, it is no wonder that the Judges have treated me so badly,” Trump wrote. “The whole system is RIGGED, and companies are leaving because of it!!!”

Drumpf, when the courts convict you of 34 felony offenses, that’s not the system being rigged against you; that’s the system working as intended. It only *seems* rigged to you because you often have the courts rigged in *your* favor. In short, your words carry as much meaning as a fly without wings.

Wait until he loses substantially in November. How butt hurt is he gonna be when he realizes the vast majority of us despise really, really, really despise his old, broken down ass??????

    >“Number one, I did a GREAT job in New York, employed thousands of people, built some of the most beautiful and successful buildings, **and paid billions of dollars in taxes**,” he wrote.

Prove it. I guess he’s forgetting about all those businesses closing and the bankruptcies.

  11. Typical bully, he insults people, he threatens them, he uses his idiot followers to intimidate them but say something uncomplimentary about him and he gets butthurt. What a friggin pussy.

  12. Hes such a fucking lunatic. ALL he ever does is bash people, call them stupid, ugly, and whatever 3rd grader insults he can come up with.

‘Adversarial relationships are not good in politics!’

    hahahaha! sure, ok bud.

  13. His feelings were hurt??? Isn’t he a big strong Republican?

I thought it was only Democrats who whine, and subsequently are made fun of, because their feelings were hurt.

  14. The thing that amazes me most about TFG is how he has captivated so many people who are too dumb or too lazy (or both!) to do the basic factchecking necessary to see how completely full of shit he is on every single thing. He’s an idiot, but he speaks the language of the idiot so fluently that all the lead paint eaters who support him think he’s brilliant.

  15. The thought of Trump sitting watching the DNC, fuming at the massive crowds and seeing everyone hate on him and call out his lies, especially members of his own party, makes me happy.

*”…as it pertains to your favorite President, me.” He added*

    how is this real life?

  17. Delicious_Fault4521 on

Is he kidding… of.course they hate him. He goes around spewing lies, scamming people, not paying his bills, and calling people names.

this was the mic drop line of the DNC:

*the affirmative action of generational wealth*

Hey Trumpers! As an employer, I would NEVER hire person with a Trump sticker on their car or who wore a maga cap. I want employees who can be relied on to act with integrity and thoughtfulness, as they’re representing the company. Anyone who’d fall for the Trump vomit salad is not a person who can be trusted to make intelligent, thoughtful, unbiased decisions. That’s just the way it is. You weren’t born inferior, but your choices made you that. You can still fix yourself, but first you have to acknowledge there’s a problem.

  20. Love this. I love seeing politicians finally saying this out loud instead of worrying about hurting Republicans’ feelings or trying to take the high road on governing when they know it will just mean caving to the GOP primary policy of “don’t govern at all.”

Gov. Hochul let the claws come out finally , and it’s brilliant.

    From the article:

    >The former president on Wednesday singled [NY Governor Kathy Hochul] out in a Truth Social post as “the nastiest speaker on Monday evening… as it pertains to your favorite President, me.” He added: “Her total hatred, and statements made about me, had no bounds.”

    >On the first night of the convention, Hochul spoke in her five-minute speech about growing up with the same values as Kamala Harris: “Grit, determination, compassion.”

    >“Those values have always defined the people of my state,” Hochul said. “Well, most of us anyway. Donald Trump was born a New Yorker, but ended up a fraud, a philanderer, and a felon.”

    >“Trust me, America,” she continued. “If you think you’re tired of Donald Trump, talk to a New Yorker. We’ve had to deal with him for 78 long years—the fraud, the tax-dodging, the sham university, the shady charities.”

    >“We’ve seen him stiff contractors, rip off workers,” Hochul said. “He abuses women, brags about it, and then takes away their rights. And New Yorkers are sick of it. It’s no wonder he had to flee to Mar-a-Lago—sorry about that, Florida, sorry about that. Trump hasn’t spent much time in New York lately. Except, that is, to get convicted of 34 felonies.”

  21. Trump is quoted in the article:

“Number two is that, on the very distinct possibility I will win the Presidency, wouldn’t it be better for the people of New York State to have a Governor who got along with the President? Adversarial relationships are not good in politics!”

Where to start? First, it’s a “distinct possibility” that he will win? Is this the first time he hasn’t just come right out and said that he was going to win? Bigly, too.

But the idea that he, as president, is accommodating to governors of any blue state is laughable. We remember covid,, Donald, even if you do not. We know you refused to send help to New York when they were overwhelmed with cases and deaths because they didn’t vote for you.

And you were surprised that she didn’t have a lot of really nice things to say about you?

    Weird.

  22. He brought his historic stiffing persona to his three AC casinos. Piano suppliers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, window installers and dozens of others are (still in 2024) owed money from Trump all these decades later. He used bankruptcy protection again and again as one of the only people to lose money running casinos. Fortunately for him his buddies Carl Icahn and Wilbur Ross worked a bondholder deal and eventually Trump walked away with $39 million while leaving hundreds of vendors and employees scrambling to survive. And the eventual reward for Wilbur Ross? Trump appointed him Secretary of Commerce.

  23. > “Number one, I did a GREAT job in New York, employed thousands of people, built some of the most beautiful and successful buildings, and paid billions of dollars in taxes,” he wrote.

hm, i wonder what new yorkers have to say about that.

And New Yorkers are sick of it.”

    >“Number one, I did a GREAT job in New York, employed thousands of people, built some of the most beautiful and successful buildings, and paid billions of dollars in taxes,” he wrote.

One sentence, four lies. Impressive even for him.

  25. One of the most telling things about trump’s ego is when he calls himself “your favorite president” then has to follow it up with “me”. It shows how fragile the guy really is.

  26. It was so refreshing when Obama talked about his constant billionaire whining about how hard he’s had it. Lol. Felt so good to hear someone like Obama say that out loud.

  27. >“Number two is that, on the very distinct possibility I will win the Presidency, wouldn’t it be better for the people of New York State to have a Governor who got along with the President?

Interesting. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen Trump talk about the *possibility* of winning instead of boisterously proclaiming he was certainly going to win.

    Confidence a bit shaken Trump?

trump is the standard bearer for hyper-masculine tough guys. He’s the chosen champion of the “suck it up butter cup! pull yourselves up by the boot straps!” crowd. Hes the avatar of the “fuck your feelings!” movement. And despite all of this, all this guy ever does is whine and cry about how unfair his life is and how everyone is hurting his feelings.

How are more people not sick of this act? Its been 9 years of this shit. 9 years of this allegedly super succesful ruthless winning billionaire just crying about how mean everyone is to him.

  29. Trump’s last brain cells are just replaying a highlight reel of his exploits in the 1980s. The peak of his life was appearing in a cameo in Home Alone 2. In his mind that validated his view of himself as the hot shit of New York, and he’s been using it to try to fill the hole left by his father’s lack of affection ever since. He cannot STAND the idea that New Yorkers hate everything about him.
