  1. I have not ever been so excited watching a political convention. Usually these are snooze fests. The Obama’s are both great speakers

  2. Everything really is projection with Trump: he’s trying to steal a black woman’s job!

  3. Barack was awesome as always but Michelle murdered it tonight. Had me ready to run through a brick wall.

  4. People are so inspired by her, so many teary eyes in the crowd. Amazing speech I was inspired.

  5. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.axios.com/2024/08/21/dnc-michelle-obama-speech-trump-harris) reduced by 57%. (I’m a bot)

That was one of the best speeches I ever saw. Obama is not able to match her speeches energy at all. That speech was amazing.

Her saying it’s a black job is so stupid. I hate that race stuff because it’s the exact same as saying it’s a white job in my opinion. Just fanning the flames separation by pandering to a group of people

I would hate to be near Trump right now. He is deteriorating. I love it. Feel bad for staff though. Having to clean up his fit of a mess.

  9. I literally turned to my wife and said “well, if Kamala wins, then it literally is, excepting Trump himself”

I completely forgot Biden is currently president.

  10. I remember in Michelle Obama’s book she wrote that she could never forgive Trump because he’s the reason she worries about the safety of Barack and her family every time they are out in public.

I’m glad she decided to “go higher” tonight so she could dunk on Trump even more.

We need more of this “no f’s given” Michelle and Barack in the next few months.

  11. It’s wild that the Obamas have been out of the trenches for 8 years but are still radically better at engaging people than anyone else in the DNC. The situation is much better now under the new ticket but just think of what we could have if America really got its shit together. I sincerely hope this shakeup is a successful new start to something.

  12. I bet it was incredibly cathartic for both of them, especially Michelle, to finally take the gloves off.

When she stepped on stage and the camera span the crowd, I saw so many emotional faces. Some of those faces looked like they could barely contain their emotions. It made me think of the moment as if your beloved mom has been away for so long and now she’s back and you realized you have missed her so very damn much. Everything is gonna be alright now. Michelle is back in the house. Her speech was the hug we didn’t know we needed so badly.

And don’t get me started on that outfit. 💥💥🔥🔥👸👸

That line was so good, it’s the verbal equiviliant of how Mike Tyson used to knock people out.
