I bought two 55 gram Fulfil bars at Tesco. Since one was significantly lighter to the touch than the other I weighted it and it showed 51g with the wrapper. I complained to Fulfil (Ferrero) and they sent me a 5 EUR voucher for any of their products.
I mean I get shrinkflation but a more than 10% smaller than advertised is outright scamming consumers.

Love this for you and may start weighing everything myself but I cant let you away with saying 4g is more than 10% of the weight of 55g 😭

There’s definitely people in this thread who are going to think you’re a moaning Michael or desperate for a few euro but you did them a favour.

It’s on them to ensure quality control but if it fails I’m sure they’d rather hear it from you than a governing body if this continued long term and they were found to have been doing this without knowing.

You saved them more than that fiver plus postage.

  3. Seen a shop trying to sell fulfils bars for €4 the other day, almost a 100% increase on a few years ago.

They’re not worth the price anymore IMO.

  4. Your post says that you bought the initial product in Tesco. Presumably when you were writing your complaint message you get them details about where you made the purchase.

In response they sent you back an apology and a voucher that you cannot use in the shop where you made the initial purchase!

That sounds like a nice way of saying F**k off to me!

Relax and have a pint/other type of protein bar. Life too short for this messing
