I can get a better quality sandwich and a drink and snack for £3.10 at work and get free fruit with it. Just not worth it anymore.

This will be the cost of outsourcing to a new, E. coli free, client

Would have less of a problem with this if they didn’t push their clubcard discount so hard.

Still insanely cheap for what you get but people will cry over this.

Oh dear, over £7 now for both me and my wife, think that will be out cutoff point. Been getting a weekly meal deal every shopping night for years.

Anyone still buying this muck is an idiot just make your own higher quality for a fraction of the price

So is Co-op with member discount the cheapest one right now, at £3.50?

£8 for a meal deal in WHSmith in motorway services this weekend, shitting cunt-faced bastard CUNTS!

Go to aldi, get 3 packs of protein wraps some chicken and salad. Boom, your weekly packed lunch for less than a tenner and its much better for you than the shite in them meal deals. Stop paying for crap you can easily do at home for quarter of the price and soon the robbing bastards will feel it.

Its amazing how its gone up in price and down in quality at such a rate.
Used to be able to get perfectly acceptable tastes and sausage rolls at my local Tesco, now it’s just dry awful sandwiches and crap crisps.

> the price of the standard meal deal will rise from £3.40 to £3.60 for Clubcard members.
Honestly that’s still really good value in this day and age

I abandoned them ages ago. The range was reduced a few years back to everything being a combo of chicken and mayo.

Who even buys meal deals, literally the lowest tier quality of food available

the options in their meal deals are rather shit anyway.

Boycott meal deals, accept meal preps, even if a bit more expensive, use local supermarkets, grocers etc

Who even buys them anymore? 4 quid for a freezing cold sandwich and a pack of Doritos? No thanks.
Edit: I see the lovers of ice cold egg mayo disagree with me.

Stop buying this shit, it costs you close to nothing if you make it at home, its a robbery on daylight

Really was not long ago it was only £3.
At this point I’m switching out to a cucumber, pot of hummus and a drink from home

I still maintain to this day that anything above £2.50 for a cheap sandwich, crisps and drink is neither a meal nor a deal.

Sainsbury’s raised to £3.75 recently and also reduced the fillings in their sandwiches a couple months back

The thing that always put me off these meals was the dates. Sometimes the sandwiches are dated two days in advance. And they were probably made the previous night. So they would happily sell you a prawn sandwich that is three fucking days old.
If they will do that, what else will they do?
I don’t work in an office any more, so I just make my own lunch at home.

So Brits, meal deal tiers. What you thinking?
For me Sainsbury’s is the goat by a mile.
Last place is Asda with their weird push for you to buy 3 sandwiches for lunch
