“In 2003, he was given a seven-year sentence for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.”
Rapists don’t stop being rapists after prison. They should all get life sentences.

It only took tons of sentences going back 40 years but we got him behind bars at last.

> A convicted killer and sex offender who raped a woman after no longer being deemed a risk has been given an indeterminate sentence.
> **Mohammed Akram, 64, won a legal battle to stop police checking on him but continued abusing women, the High Court in Glasgow heard.**
> He was convicted of nine charges of physically and sexually abusing three women between 2010 and 2021, including while one was pregnant.
> **Akram was told at that he would serve at least five years in prison under a order for lifelong restriction (OLR) before being considered for parole.**
> **Some of the multiple rapes and assaults happened while he was subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO), which he successfully appealed in 2017.**
> **Akram already had sentences going back 40 years, having been jailed in 1979 for five years for the culpable homicide of a man behind a pub in Glenrothes, Fife.**
> In 2003, he was given a seven-year sentence for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
> **He was then convicted in 2012 of abusing a four-year-old girl while he was still out on licence.**
> His first OLR was imposed but later overturned after it was concluded the trial judge misdirected jurors, and the girl’s evidence considered unsafe because she became distracted during her two days as a court witness.
> **While Akram remained the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO), those measures were lifted after a legal battle in 2017 when Sheriff Nigel Morrison ruled there was not enough evidence that Akram still posed a risk to the public.**
> **The decision to remove the SOPO was thought to be the first of its kind in Scotland.**
Average justice system reaction to a tier 1 demographic. He had:
– Sentences going back over 40 years.
– Jailed for 5 years in 1979 for being culpable for a homicide.
– 7 years in jail (2003) for sexually assaulting a teenager.
– Convicted of abusing a 4 year old girl in 2012.
– Declared not a risk to the public in 2017.

Lock him up for life, and make it clear that when he eventually dies, his remains will be cremated and dumped at sea prior to his family being notified.

Absolute insanity that this predator was allowed to walk free at all. He literally murdered someone in the 70s and was still allowed to walk free to commit rapes, then he was able to appeal an order that allowed the police to check on him.
Like fuck what does this guy have to do to get behind bars for a considerable amount of time?
In his case, he’s shown without a shadow of a doubt he’s a violent predator who has no intention of reforming and he should be imprisoned for life because he has had more than enough chances and has proven he’s not going to change.
“He was then convicted in 2012 of abusing a four-year-old girl while he was still out on licence.

Am I reading this right? They overturned his OLR because a 4 year old girl became distracted during a two day trial stint as a court witness? Is that what they’re saying? Because rape victim children have to sit perfectly still and quiet while their rapist gets his day is court, right? That’s how it works right? Victims have to sit quiet and still while we all have a nice calm chat about how much rape is okay to do to a 4 year old, right?

He has been asked to be moved from the cell he shares with a Facebook poster.
He said he has rights and cannot listen to anymore of the guy’s alt-right shit!

If you have committed multiple similar crimes, and other crimes as well, you should always be classed as “a risk to the public” even without evidence.
If that goes against human rights laws then switch the system around. Make them prove they are not a risk to the public (over years, not months, outside of prison not just inside), and continue to engage in therapy/monitoring programs for the rest of their life.

This guy needed a life sentence many years ago, he cannot control his compulsion to do evil.

He can be out in 5 years on licence (minimum). For rape and attempted murder. Insane. Sheriff Nigel Morrison should be ashamed for his part in this.

I’m sorry but the amount of repeat offenders were sexual assault is concerned is way too high, clearly rehab isn’t a thing for them.

If you gave him a life sentence the first time, he wouldn’t be a serial rapist.

At some point you really have to believe people when they show you they are the worst of us. Some people just need to be locked up for life for the good of the rest of us.
