Like every year, the Pokemon World Championship for the VGC (Competitive Video Game) section brought the best 800 players in the world to challenge each other live for 3 days to decree the best trainer in the world!
60 players qualified for Italy, 10 of whom advanced to the final stage, but only one, Luca Ceribelli, advanced to the final where he beat Japanese Yuta Ishigaki.
Italy has already won once, with Arash Ommati, in 2013, (To give you an idea, it was the year of Pokemon Black and White)

Quindi complimenti!
