This is fantastic ! I hope they also ask Liz though I don’t agree with her on any policy. I am forever grateful for her commitment to our democracy. Apparently she was over with her daughter for Taylor Swift concert so she’s a Swifty. It’s progress isn’t it ?

Dear MAGA parents: Hulk Hogan and Donald Trump shouldn’t be role models for your sons. This guy should be.

  3. He’s just one of those guys I have all the respect in the world for. We may never agree politically, but he knows when to put the party down for the greatest good which is…what normal people should do. The treatment he got from his family just for being a decent guy was crazy.

Wow, a Republican speaking at the DNC? That’s like mixing oil and water! Can’t wait to see the fireworks – or maybe a political peace offering? Either way, it’s bound to be interesting. Let’s see if Kinzinger can bridge the partisan gap.

  5. One of the few Republicans who fought to hold Trump accountable while still in office. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Kinzinger.

Although I understand the need for unity and I might be downvoted into oblivion but I don’t understand why the DNC would do this. The convention isn’t any ordinary rally where we can come together but rather it’s about showing what the democrats are offering in terms of policy to the American people. This is the same guy that was just as pro war as Bush (which is a big criticism of Biden), he would gut social security the first chance he got and doesn’t represent the change that VP Harris seems to want to offer. Biden did an amazing job in trust busting and paved the way for Americans to actually stand up to corporations and Congressman Kinzinger is the exact opposite 🤷

  7. One of the few, if not the only, republican I can trust. Did a superb job during the J6 hearings.

  8. Republicans with prime time slots at the Democratic convention. Which DNC hack came up with this idea?

I respect Kinsinger to some extent for standing up to the Orange Felon and his MAGAtt base. But in the end, this guy still believes at least 90% of what they do. Just like Liz Cheney. Just like all those Bush Crime Family hacks at the Lincoln Project.

They may be opposed to Cheeto and that’s great. But don’t make the mistake of believing that makes them “democrats”. We have enough Republicans in the Democratic party as it is, ever since 1992.

  9. The American anti-fascism coalition is a big tent.

I’m happy to argue about differences in taxation policies when the alternative isn’t overthrowing the entire republic.

I don’t want to discourage Republicans from doing shit like this at all, but I’m beyond tired of Republicans suddenly discovering their party is pursuing racist shitheads only AFTER they’re leaving the party.

Honestly, I can’t wait for the right to give him a nickname that makes him sound cooler… Adam Kinslayer

  12. Do I love this man’s voting record? No

Do I agree with this man’s policies? No

Do I cherish this man’s integrity? I would fight on the front lines for it

  13. He’s the perfect guy to tear Trump apart and speak to the threat he poses to the country. Frees Kamala up to then paint a positive vision for the future.

  14. As a former Kinzinger representative, he’s not on our side. He hates gays, abortions, and said “Americans have a right to be a white nationalist.” I get appealing to never Trump republicans, but this asshole isn’t one to hitch a ride with.

  15. I voted against him in every general election, but damn if I don’t respect his personal courage.

Love this dude. He’s a real American patriot who doesn’t bow down to things that are objectively wrong with the GOP.

  17. Kinzinger jumped on the grenade to bring legitimacy to the Jan 6th committee. I’m glad he’s on the side of democracy!
