The media has a vested interest in portraying the candidates as equivalent options. The only way to do this is to drastically criticize Harris and hold her to a standard that does not exist for Trump.

The New York Times and CNN have joined NewsMax and FoxNews becoming bullhorns for the ultra rich billionaires. The New York Times biggest investor is Mexico’s richest billionaire Carlos Slim. It is now New York Post strong while CNN is FoxNews lite. They don’t buy the failing media to make more money. They buy the failing media to influence elections so they save much more than the cost in tax breaks and subjugating the working middle class into almost slave labor.

Theres honestly no way you think the NYT leans Trump…. Look up “Kamala Harris New York Times” and “Trump New York Times” and tell me out of the first 10-20 search options, how many are negative for each. For Harris is like 1-2 and they’re not that bad of a headline. For Trump its almost all of them, and they’re really bad. Then do the same thing excluding the NYT, and you will see just how much more positive Harris is portrayed. You dont have to like Trump to admit he does far worse in the press.

This article addressed something I’ve been saying for the last few weeks.
The media should be attacking Harris for not explaining and defending her policies throughout september if they isn’t. We know why she isn’t clear on policy – because she’s only been the candidate for a few weeks.
But Trump has gotten away with no policy detail since 2015!!! On key issues, he has no policy detail at all.

And then it will be a debate.
And *maybe* after that you can have an interview. If you aren’t complete assholes about it, that is (I’m not holding my breath).
But in the meantime, perhaps you could ask Trump a decent follow up question instead of swallowing his lies whole?
She could do a *never answer the question/make shit up* news conference every single day. Please, for the love of Edward R Murrow, stop pretending what Trump does is at all difficult, or in any way similar to a Democrat answering questions from the press.

The fact that these organizations even cover Trump or give him the time of day, just goes to show you how they failed the fourth estate. They shouldn’t even be considered journalistic entities at this point. They should be labeled as entertainment companies, and treated as such. Meaning they should not be allowed to have White House access for their reporters, etc., etc..

They got caught flat footed by Biden bowing out just like the Republicans, but they will be furiously digging up or manufacturing dirt on Harris and Walz, while propping Trump up.
