At best a fool, at worst a shill. We need to root out Putineers wherever they are. Shame on him.

Not surprising: Sinn Féin TD Mairead Farrell was also engaged to [speak](https://m.independent.ie/irish-news/politics/senior-sinn-fein-td-and-dail-vice-chair-catherine-connolly-to-take-part-in-neutrality-forum-with-meps-clare-daly-mick-wallace-and-former-mp-george-galloway/a900693983.html) at events organised by the Galway Alliance Against War (a group who insist Putin had “[no option”](https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/s/lxtFxTwzok) but to invade Ukraine)

The same event was also to have George Galloway speak, a man who routinely invites Scott Ritter (a convicted [paedophile](https://www.euronews.com/2023/05/24/why-do-disgraced-americans-like-scott-ritter-spout-pro-putin-propaganda-in-russia) and Putin apologist.

Sinn Féin as a whole have been great on Ukraine but they really need to make it clear that they will have nothing to do with Putinites.

  3. I always recommend people look at Chris McManus’ voting record in Europe.

When Daly and Wallace were being (rightly) criticised for voting against various measures against Russia, McManus generally abstained. (Ming did too on occasion.)

Given they deleted various comments about Russia on their website I suspect Sinn Féin do still support Russia and are relying on their voters not being smart enough to notice.
