    >Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) called mass killings in America karma for the “murder of infants” — and “chickens coming home to roost.” He compared supporters of reproductive rights to people who fought to preserve slavery.

We can’t let this hypocritical bigot become governor of an actual state.

If you are in North Carolina, please vote for Josh Stein (D) for governor

  2. Personally, I am against abortion, but I don’t feel I should have the right to prevent a person from getting one, nor will I judge most people who undergo the procedure. However, I am judging the fuck out of this two-faced Nazi asshole.

    >“Let’s say I was the governor, I had a willing legislature, we could pass a bill saying you can’t have an abortion in North Carolina for any reason,” he says in one clip. In another, Robinson says, “For me there is no compromise on abortion, it makes no difference to me why or how that child ended up in that womb.”

Damn. I feel bad for those women who would be forced to carry a non-viable fetus to term, that seems like something out of a horror movie.

    > Elsewhere, he says: “Abortion in this country is not about protecting the lives of mothers. It’s about killing a child because you weren’t responsible enough to keep your skirt down.”

Unless it effects him personally, that is.

This guy should practice what he preeches and lock himself away, 25 to life.

  5. And that’s exactly how it will play out when the GOP outlaws abortion; quick, easy access to abortion for the daughters and mistresses of GOP politicians and the ultra-wealthy… prison sentences for the common woman…

Even his own explanation of it is nonsense. Was it rape or incest when he got his wife pregnant? Neither. There was literally no reason beyond, we aren’t married, we wanna bang and we don’t want a kid. They could support it, they were together, they had the time and money. So not only was he a hypocrite then, him trying to be honest shows him to be an even bigger hypocrite now. This is pretty wild.

lol of course he did. They are all hypocrites. That dude sucks, I can’t wait for him to lose badly and disappear into obscurity

  8. Pulling up the ladder and letting other people suffer after benefiting from a policy they mercilessly ripped away from women?

We’re already seeing the fallout from the repeal of *Roe.* Doctors being afraid of treating women due to being held accountable for possibly committing a crime and thus fleeing states with draconian laws. Women being in precarious health situations and either dying or being permanently scarred (mentally and physically) from the experience of carrying an unviable pregnancy.

These people are cruel and callous. Fuck people like him. Where the only exception is their “moral” exception.

I literally cannot comprehend the motivation behind these people’s policies. Why are the pushing agendas they don’t even believe in themselves? What is the benefit?

He’s a lunatic who is an absolute disgrace and a liar. Why anyone would vote for this trash person is a mystery that needs investigating by many, many psychiatric professionals.

This is what drives me crazy. They will pass these laws requiring women to be at death’s door before they can get a legal abortion and then turn around and tell you, of course if the poor baby is developing with no skull or brain, an abortion should be allowed!! But they are doing post birth abortions so we must ban them all!!!!

    Sigh.

  12. “I only believe in abortion in cases where the life of the politician is endangered.”

  13. And in our local (here in NC) campaign commercials he said, ….that’s why I back our current “sensible” abortion laws here in NC — e.g. a 16 week ban. A.) that ain’t women’s healthcare… women can have deadly complications at well past 16 weeks. B.) Robinson is lying… he actually wants to ban abortion altogether in our state. Total snake in the grass. Nobody believe him. And VOTE!
