Tips for Road Trip to Gdańsk

Hi! I’m your neighbor from Slovakia and I love visiting Poland. I’ve been to many big cities like Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź, Kraków, Katowice, and so on. But now, I really want to visit Gdańsk. I’ve heard it’s a beautiful and historical city, so I’ve decided to take a road trip there from Žilina.

Could you recommend any interesting destinations along the way? They don’t have to be on the direct route—we’re open to detours! Also, is there anything we should be aware of or careful about during our trip?
