People in Yamanashi Prefecture should be on the alert for downpours until around dawn on Saturday. The alert level is expected to be high toward Friday evening.
In the Tohoku region in Japan’s northeast, the alert level is likely to be high in Fukushima Prefecture until late Saturday night.
People in Miyagi Prefecture are advised to be on the alert for heavy rain as the alert level is likely to be high from Friday night until around dawn on Saturday.
