> Hyde & Seek Childcare operates four crèches across Dublin city. The company was previously at the centre of a separate controversy when in 2019 RTÉ Investigates revealed serious failings in the standards of care provided across several of its branches.
I knew I recognised the name. That company would’ve rightfully gone under after that if there wasn’t such a shortage of childcare

I was assured only a few weeks ago on here that the grant scheme was above any abuse and we all had nothing to worry about. That it was a wonderful initiative that definitely won’t just get eaten up by greedy crèches like contractors eat up the home energy upgrades

I’ve seen a few posts on facebooks about crèche’s going private because of the scheme and also crèche price increase because of the scheme too.
Our deposit for a place next year is €800 and the crèche isn’t open yet.

If a crèche cut back hours but kept fees the same is the a breach of the rules or a loophole they are permitted to use?
