  1. Huge.

Campaign hard for them. It’s a huge voting block…and one that the Republicans have been targeting for years and preying on their religious and socially conservative beliefs.

  2. “Mass Deportation Now!” signs at Swamp Monster T-Rump convention…who do you think they’re coming for…

  3. Biden’s camp was VERY bad at Latino reach out. Numerous people said this in the fall of 2020 and the exits confirmed it. Harris team needs to do work there because it’s been a huge fumble since 2016.

Trump wants to send Floridian Cuban Americans back to Cuba. Harris wants to protect them and keep them here. The choice could not be more obvious.

I remember getting jumped on for encouraging Kamala to back the bipartisan border bill, because it would hurt her standing with Latinos.
She did so and got more popular with that demographic regardless.

Obviously take polls with a grain of salt, but the fact that there is such an onslaught of polls from so many directions showing a Harris surge, it really makes me optimistic. She’s polling well nationally, in battleground states, with different age groups, with different interest groups, with unions, with the broad array of groups that make up the Democratic large tent. Women, Latino voters, African-American voters… this is just a huge groundswell of enthusiasm. The challenge is to keep it going through the convention and after. 3 months to go…

  7. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-harris-jumps-14-points-latino-voters-1939743) reduced by 81%. (I’m a bot)

    > Vice President Kamala Harris is doing better with Latino voters than President Joe Biden was a few months ago, according to a poll.

    > The Equis poll shows Harris is leading Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, by 19 points among registered Hispanic and Latino voters in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

    > Harris' lead with these voters is therefore 14 points more than what Biden had. The latest poll surveyed 2,183 registered voters who identify as Hispanic or Latino in 12 states, of which 1,242 were registered in the seven battleground states, between July 22 and August 4.

Todos personas nesesitqn hablar Español desde despues la elección en Noviembre 😉

  9. I’d just have a clip of Trump praising Maduro playing on repeat on every local station in Florida and Texas.

  10. Some folks are figuring out that even if they don’t end up in that mass deportation Trump is planning, it’s going to be open season for racists to treat them like they should be from then on.

Why would you vote for a president who wants illegal immigrants to be fed to crocodiles?

Latinos have aquaintances or relatives who have tried to cross the border because of poverty.

They must be charged or sent back to home, not to treat them like animals.

If Harris can win over the Cubans in Southern Florida then it is fucking over dude. Election night will be done by 7:30pm

Man that is a lot of points. It would be really awesome if that was true, but this is a newsweek article. Notorious for pandering to what liberals want to hear.

I worry that Reddit has become such a circlejerk that we’re not getting realistic information about the campaign. remember when HRC had it locked up? This kind of over reporting on success can actually persuade some people not to come out to the polls.

  14. Trump would attempt to deport anyone who either looks or sounds ethnic unless they’re European women who he finds attractive.

  15. I’m glad Biden was able to vanquish him in 2020. But there was nothing wrong with taking that W and bowing out this time around. Between the circumstances that led to Biden getting more pop & Hilary’s absolute debacle of a campaign, Trump really never should have got as far as he did

I feel like I can’t relax until Trump loses, I will never trust another poll after 2016 😵‍💫

  17. Just 14 is pretty sad. This is the group that tRump literally wants to build a wall and throw you over it whether you’re here legally or not and he’s still getting their votes?
