  1. I was shot in the knee about 14 years ago it did create a fear and anxiety in me that i truly did not understand till later. I do not know if it would have been considered PTSD but it definitely shook me as well as t likely did Trump. He is still a garbage person and while i am sympathetic with him on being shot that is it.

A close call like that changes a person

Unfortunately in this case probably not for the better. Historically when figures like Trump survive assassination attempts, paranoia and purges follow

  3. Couple pathological inability to self reflect with generationally imposed reluctance to seek help. Lets see what happens folks.

I have ptsd. This fucker deserves the suffering for intentionally giving all those kids at the border crossing separated from their families complex trauma. I hope his suffering from it is in proportion to how much trauma he caused others.

  5. I can’t enter a remotely crowded space without considering a mass shooting event happening. Tough shit.

  6. Trump was expecting to get a hellova lot more mileage from the shooting, when Harris/Walz pushed it off the front page.

Dude is like “uncle Rico” reliving his best high school football game.

    That was Donalds best moment.

  8. I’ve got a champagne bottle ready for incarcerated and a champagne bottle ready for mort, but I didn’t think to prepare one for this milestone.

Oh well, good thing shops open tomorrow.

  9. I don’t think he has PTSD. I think he thinks getting shot at makes him cool, and he’s reveling in it, much like he did when his supporters attacked the Capitol for him.

This would go some way towards explaining why he’s spending so little time at campaign events since then.

  11. > Sources who spoke to Vanity Fair suggested that just might be because of the trauma—**or because Trump is gutted he’s no longer facing Biden.**

There’s the real reason. He’s just pouting and he thought the assassination attempt made him look really cool and was his free ride to election.

Bullshit. He just enjoys watching himself and thinking about all the attention he received. He doesn’t have empathy or insight required.

  13. I have ptsd from my time in the army. But he thinks I’m a sucker and a loser for it.

    Fuck him.

  14. Good. I would much rather he live in misery than become their martyr. All we need is a public meltdown where everyone can see

My speculative, unsolicited opinion: that was the last time he had the full attention of the media that he compulsively craves.

Oh he absolutely has PTSD. but where most normal people would sit down and examine their lives and legacy after coming a mere inch from death. He can’t. His narcissism won’t let him suffer that kind of real soul searching. And I actually wish he could.

  17. It’s not PTSD, it’s mental masturbation. He gets to imagine himself as an actual martyr, it’s all he’s ever wanted.

  18. I’m going to give him the same advice he gave people after a school shooting.

    “Get over it”

Just a thought. Wouldn’t have PTSD from the event if he simply got over it.

  19. These people never hung out with a narcissist. He’s watching to admire the details of his own heroism. This was a high moment for him, not trauma. Anything that brings attention is food for the boundless ego.

“We have to get over it” – Trump to Iowans after a school shooting there.

    Fuck him.
