Someone died in Zvartnots last week. According to preliminary reports, the 30 y/o Brazilian suffered cardiovascular and breathing problems. One report suggests he died at the airport, while another says he was pronounced dead in the hospital. There will be an autopsy to reveal the exact cause of death.
A media outlet with a history of spreading false and misleading information claimed that the death was caused by the customs agents who "forced" the man to drink the wine that he was carrying in a bottle in his hand.
The customs agency denied the accusation, saying its agents did not force the man to drink anything.

The fire in a 3-hectare area began on Sunday. The landfill operator requested assistance from firefighters. There is a photo of two firefighters casually standing in the middle of the smoking landfill surrounded with toxic gas, no masks, nothing. Love Armenia.
Yerevan municipality said the strong winds exasperated the fire that was caused by the accumulation of methane gas. The fire was partially extinguished as of Tuesday.
The Nubarashen landfill is only 10 km from Yerevan’s center. It receives 1,000 tons of waste every day.
Earlier this year the government adopted a decree to shut down the Nubarashen landfill and replace it with a modern landfill with European standards, which is yet to be built.

HVAC technician is facing 6 years in prison after a client dies from carbon monoxide poisoning
Authorities say the technician was called to service the gas system in the apartment in Vanadzor and that he allegedly neglected to take action against an improperly configured gas-powered water heater.
The 26 y/o resident of the apartment died from carbon monoxide two months later.
The technician is charged with causing accidental death by ignoring safety protocols. The maximum punishment is 6 years but it’s unclear what the prosecutors will seek.

EXPERT: We have. The relocants from Russia inflated the numbers, and since Armenia’s hospitality industry is very greedy, the price of everything skyrocketed, from restaurants to tour packages. Right now Armenia has the most expensive packages in the whole region. [strong dram is also hurting them]
REPORTER: Why is there a significant decline in Russian tourists?
EXPERT: There is anti-Armenian propaganda in Russia and many Russians do not understand the situation in Armenia. They often ask if it’s true that there is an ongoing civil war in Armenia, if we are shooting each other on the streets; whether it’s true that there is a strong anti-Russian sentiment towards Russian tourists, and that they aren’t allowed to enter cafes for their ethnicity; and stuff like this that has nothing common with reality.
When Russian tourists do visit Armenia, they see that the reports of anti-Russian sentiment are false. They travel from Georgia to Armenia and realize that unlike in Georgia, none of the anti-Russian sentiment, anti-Russian graffiti, and refusal to serve Russians is found in Armenia. Nevertheless, the flow to Georgia grew this year.
In 2021-2022 it was impossible to find a free seat in Yerevan cafes in the evening. Today it’s not impossible. Everything points to a massive change.
Rising prices are a very serious reason. Even companies in our industry send their employees to vacation abroad. We often lose to Georgian companies while competing for tour packages.
REPORTER: Is there an objective reason behind that?
EXPERT: I do not see objective reasons. I can see պաթոս as a factor: our nature is beautiful, we provide excellent service, great food. When you set պաթոս aside, there is a conflict with reality.
Armenia launches first-ever industrial crayfish farming program
Last year the government approved a program for industrial crayfish farming for 2024-2026. It aims to establish dozens of modern crayfish farming facilities across the country.
The goal is to produce 54 tons of crayfish annually.
ECONOMY MINISTRY: The government will subsidize 50% of the costs associated with the development of commercial crayfish farming. Hundreds of millions will be invested in businesses of all sizes.

What the actual fuck, how do these guys write such shit and expect it to make sense? Free energy videos on social media makes more sense than these news outlets.
Wow that’s horrible 35 accidents in July alone from car crashes, they really need to do something about this I can think of a couple reasons bad roads,drunk driving, not wearing seatbelts,speeding and old Soviet cars mainly lada with no air bags.
